March 6, 201214 yr Mmm, I've got the Warthog Ed!Weird!! Not had this issue with mine. How did it go with the FSUPIC calibration? I'll check my settings as well. Ed Haslam
March 6, 201214 yr Peter,That fixed it. Thanks so much. It was up to 26%N1 this evening. Taxiing had become fraught.FSUIPC to the rescue (again)BestJake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
March 6, 201214 yr Had the same problem on an old Piper PA 28, forget to set the handbrake, rolled forward when I started the engine and nearly hit the hanger as I had my head in the Cockpit... ;) Edited March 6, 201214 yr by Big_Les "Military Intelligence is a contradiction in terms" Paul Yates
March 6, 201214 yr Hi guys, I've just come across an issue that has suddenly appeared and one that I have not previously had an issue with. I load a flight with the NGX, and the moment the aircraft appears it rolls forward. It's not a deal breaker, but it pushes the aircraft away from where it should be! Any ideas on this guys? That happens to me if I select the airport first in the FSX Menu. I now just load the NGX first then airport to resolve that issue. This also happens with any aircraft not just the NGX. Sam Vaughan

Any ideas on this guys?Hi Howard,I noticed the same after SP1c. Now I'm at work so I can't confirm this but it would appear that some settings are saved in association with your default flight. For my saved default flight I use one of the MS aircraft and, for example, position and size the ATC window to how I like it. Save the default flight and next time I create a new flight using the NGX the ATC window is located per my default flight. I have a 4 day weekend coming up so will have planty of time to look at this and get going on Tutorial #2. I got the UTX Europe add-on btw, a little treat for me :)
March 7, 201214 yr save your default flight with a default airplane, make sure to have the parking brake set, problem solved.

Sure, as I said, it's not a deal breaker for me and to be honest saving a default flight will be the answer no doubt, which of course is easy enough. Glad you got UTX Europe, it makes a huge difference to the overall feel of things. You may want to consider GEX Europe, which goes very nicely hand in hand UTX.
