CS 737 major update

Featured Replies

Indeed looks very good. Pity that CS addons are not "for me". Cold and dark in a CS plane isn't really cold and dark as all switch positions are in their normal state. The only thing that's different is that the battery is off, the APU is not running, and the engines are off. Otherwise it's just a normal "ready for takeoff" state. Or did they do this differently for the 707?

Once again CS hits it outa the park, noone, no one, does a better cockpit, beautifull! They just need to do 2 things, ad Southwest livery and start allowing shared cockpit with their planes.

Sorry have to disagree imo PMDG 737NGX is the best VC ever. I do like CS work but I will pass I would sooner fly a 736 with the depth that comes with PMDG's 737

It looks awesome, and I will for sure buy it. I love the NGX too, and if I'm ever on a real 737ng and both pilots pass out, I will be glad I have knowledge of that detailed cockpit and it's systems. :( However, I'm not snooty when it comes to simulated aircraft. I have loved all of CS releases, and since the service packs, they run flawlessly to me. I have almost every plane they have done, and they are all brilliantly done. $0.02

They are good, but the NGX VC is better in my opinion. Also, considering that Milviz did the VC for the CS B-52, I think it is safe to say that there are other developers who produce incredible visuals as well. Unfortunately, the visuals seem to be the only thing that CS really does well, while the flight dynamics and systems suffer in comparison to the visuals.

HelloYou nailed it exactly, CS are true artists, but the buggy systems and poor FDE's let them down. The 757 still feels strange even after all of the patches, looks nice mind

It's a real shame too. I wish that the 727 or 707 were more realistic, and had proper systems, flight dynamics, and EPR ratings. Just imagine one of those done to the NGX level of detail with an SDK and FS2Crew support. That would be so sweet, particularly the 727 in my case because I always had a thing for three-holers and I remember really liking the 727 as a child. This is why I am eagerly awaiting the Coolsky DC-9 because I want a short-haul old airliner that is both visually stunning and has extremely detailed systems and authentic flight dynamics.

Looks fabulous. Every CS addon has always run without a hitch for me too so this is the one I will probably go for.
