I got a set of these for my birthday last year and LOVE them. Very comfortable, very accurate voice and audio.http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169415800/categoryId.35096300

Looking at some comments here has got me wondering. With a USB headset, I don't really want to listen to anything in the headphones, just to use the microphone. I want all sounds - engines, FS2Crew voices, Radar Contact et al to come out of the speakers. Is this possible or do I have to have FS2Crew voices in the headset? I hope not as that's not very realistic. The FA coming to ask if boarding can start wouldn't be heard by the crew in their headsets, she'd be at the door!

I'm thinking of buying a Logitech H330 USB headset. Anyone got any experience of these? They'll cost £18-00 (US$ 29-00).

Hi lain. I have all sound coming out of my speakers and only use the mike for speaking to my FO. The logitech you are looking at will probably be just fine and they look nice and light. I only bought the heavier style because i needed to use my Tracklip Pro for Trackir.

Just a short story to add...I purchased quite an expensive headset a couple of years ago, one of many I’ve owned over the years (from AKG, Beyerdynamic to Sennheiser all very good)... Had them a few weeks and accidentally sat on and broke them! I decided just to replace them with a cheap pair because I’m either ripping cord out the socket (or sitting on them)... Saw in my local shop a pair that ‘looked’ exactly identical, but a different brand costing much less. Did not think they sounded as good as the expensive ones and was not surprised. However, after a week or two I yet again wrenched the lead out...decided to dismantle them for repair and to my surprise the speakers inside were identical to the expensive ones!... soldered the wires back tested them and suddenly for no apparent reason they sounded as good as the expensive ones!!!

At the moment I got myself the cheapest USB headset I could find for FSX... Cyber Acoustics AC-xxx range - speech recognition compliant, good reviews and work very well with Fs2crew... also usually check the frequency response on the packaging before buying somewhere around 20hz-20khz is good.

Asus M4N78 pro, EVGA460SC, 4gb DD2, 3.4ghz AMD Phenom II.

I have the Logitech G930 Wireless USB. Really like this headset, last up to 10 hours.
