March 8, 201214 yr As I clear the beer cans and empty Dorito bags off the F/O's seat in preparation for his arrival, just wondering if folks have recommendations on the best headset for fs2crew. All thoughts appreciated. Thanks so much. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith
March 8, 201214 yr I'm using the logitech H390; good quality, not very expensive but most important: a usb connection. This way you can have the sounds of the aircraft through your speakers and fs2crew and atc via the headset.

I hear the engines throught the headset and ATIS over the speakers. I will have to change for the best fs2 experience. Phill Dant
March 8, 201214 yr You have to assign you speakers as your main sound driver and select your headset in the atc-program as the primary device. With fs2crew the selection of your usb-headset is very easy.
March 8, 201214 yr Using a steelseries 5hv2 with 3.5mm plugs. Good quality for talk/gaming, but could be better for music. I've got the aircraft/systems coming through speakers, and ATC/teamspeak/squawkbox through headset. Done this via the soundmax driver software. So it depends: a usb headset is not always required. March 8, 201214 yr Agreed, but they do tend to make life easier.True. On my systems it's ran like this by default. Initial setup was very easy. I think this has a lot to do with the soundcard and case capabilities. Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen
March 8, 201214 yr I use Sennheiser 350 which I like pretty much. They tend to lower the engine volume a bit if You put them on and has an very accurate microphone in ambient noise (which is needed in JS41 for example) Bartłomiej Ender

March 8, 201214 yr I use a simple $40 Logitech headset. Great quality and they last me at least 4 years. AJ Pongress

March 9, 201214 yr MY PMDG747 Fs2Crew version is button control, but i have the Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset that i got for Xmas and am using just for myTracklip Pro until the voice control version comes out tomorrow for NGX. What i can say is that i find them very comfortable and they seemed to work very well when i gave the VoxATC trial version a try. Rick Hobbs
