Thats not the real ingame motor sound of the mustang is it?Like howling sound.

Some of it is, at least the idling sound is right. But the flyby sounds different. Definitely how a REAL mustang sounds doing a flyby though :).

Oh man, I'm glad you said that, because I was about to buy the damn thing... cockpit or no cockpit. I couldn't believe MS so accurately captured the roar of a Mustang.I guess that just confirms the old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."You make amazing videos, though. Hehe. Well I only bought it for video purposes. It really is a rubbish add-on. Surprisingly there is some sort of cockpit, by moving the free look cam inside the plane.

Yup, just as well you pointed out that the sound is post process, or I think everyone would have been rushing of and buying that P-51 for Flight. I teach video editing and special effects for a living, and I think you've done a great job on that movie incidentally. Nice one.Al

wow, professional video. thanks for this awesome contribution.on a side note: I guess that around 2:14 the pilot - judging by his wide eyes behind the sunglasses - realized that he has no cockpit :-)

Including this first "no-cockpit" plane can be twofold....On the one side it opens FLIGHT to those who don't really care about the bells and whistles of managing the systems on the aircraft, but wouldrather prefer to fly and enjoy the scenery, the sounds, the rather improved graphics and even reach for some aerocaches easily accessibleto, int this case, a P-51...On the other side, MS may be testing the representatitivity of the various classes of FLIGHT users... Should there be a lot buying this sortof models, FLIGHT may evolve accordingly, should this be a marginal number of customers, maybe we tend to get more sphisticated airshipsin the future...Just my thoughts, of course!

I love it, good job. I have heard the real thing many many times at airshows. There is nothing like the sound of a 51 making a high speed fly by. But, I just can not bring myself to buy it until there is a working cockpit! Too bad. I have not heard the mustang sounds in FLIGHT. Are they anything like this video?
