Anyone seen the banner on the ORBX forums?

Well, has anyone? It has various clues, like several bolded words and such, but its interesting to speculate...New scenery? Maybe a new flow? Or perhaps the mass release of the entire East Coast? One can only dream...

I hope it is the release of NZNI - then my dreams of flying seamlessly around an ORBX Oceania will be realised.Sydney to Auckland in my NGX? Yes please!Add Rex Essentials to that (which may be arriving around then) and I will be a happy camper indeed.Roll on April!

Cheers!

They don't typically announce new areas like that. Unless I'm mistaken... I'd love an Orbx US Southeast...

Oh I am sure it is wishful thinking on my part, but I believe they have changed their approach to announcing new products and regions, so who knows!

Cheers!

The ones they have been working on lately has been Canberra CityScape, New Zealand North Island, Jackson Hole and W16.The ones that are further in the distance (so it seams) are Northern California, New England and the United Kingdom. My guess is they are releasing Canberra CityScape, New Zealand North Island, Jackson Hole and W16 on that day....Cheers

My wish is for the New Zealand North Island. I live in Wellington which is in the North Island.I would like to finally fly around my local airports in ORBX. It was painfull to see the South Island released first and the North Island second. But the South Island is still great.I am sure a lot of folks in California feel the same way seeing the PNW, CRM, SRM come before California.Cheers

I hope it's NZNI. Been all over the South and beautiful as it is I'm so looking forward to crossing the Straight and fly into Wellington on a windy day. :)

Seems pointlessly cryptic for something as mundane as a sale!I am expecting some kind of new release...

Cheers!

As Zach said, they don't release normal sceneries in this way. I think it will be a completely secret project or something they have been working on for a long time and maybe has been on the backburner. I suspect it could well be Canberra CityScape, a full rendition of the city of Canberra to fit hand in hand with their airport. They announced last year that they were no longer going to develop large airports and only concentrate on the smaller regional airfileds, whether this decision impacted on the development of Canberra city I don't know. However, if my memory serves me well, they did announce this policy half way through the development of Canberra CityScape. Since then, things have gone very quiet, so as I said, it may have been shelved or it could well be, that's what is going to be released. The other side of the secret option is that John Venema said last year that they were working on something very interesting with PMDG. Again, this is somehting else that has been kept very quiet. So, while there are a couple of possibilities there to chew on, I guess all cards are on the table...As Zach said, they don't release normal sceneries in this way.
