May 11, 201214 yr @NikkiA..Having that in your sig, and being female..well... You're the first person to comment on it, but it's a reference to the 'Pilot' episode of the mockumentary 'People Like Us' (it's present in both the radio and TV versions), where the narrator is panicking as the plane is on final approach (in the radio version, runway 30 at EGPH, in the TV version some unspecified runway at LFPG) about the runway being too small for the plane.
May 11, 201214 yr What I don't quite get is, here is somebody giving us of all his time and efforts to bring us something that will not cost us a single dime, and yet, just like in the run-up to every pre-release PMDG model, we have the same scenario of 'we-want-this-we-want-that'. Why can we not be just grateful to Francois for what we are getting without us having to dip our hands in our wallets?? Rick Almeida
May 11, 201214 yr Author What I don't quite get is, here is somebody giving us of all his time and efforts to bring us something that will not cost us a single dime, and yet, just like in the run-up to every pre-release PMDG model, we have the same scenario of 'we-want-this-we-want-that'. Why can we not be just grateful to Francois for what we are getting without us having to dip our hands in our wallets?? I don't think he's taking it that way; I hope not anyway. No one here is trying to get him to do things, we're asking him if they're on his "to-do" list. It's looking great, make sure to take your time and not rush it. Do you have any plans of fixing the Fly-By-Wire feature? We all know that the default is terrible, and so it ought to be fixed. On the other hand, if you don't, no loss, as we can just not use it in the first place. ALWAYS look at things as the glass half full. I'll be happy to see it out, especially the updated A319. Thanks, Adlai
May 11, 201214 yr Good points, Adlai. My oblique was not referenced to you in particular but a general broadside,as I felt we ought to give Francois the room to breathe until he had finished the 'main course', and then perhaps ask for the 'desert'. I just felt he might have been snowed under and lose focus of the 'main course'. After all, you must agree with me, this is by far one of the best freewares to hit the skies, so let it have the room to evolve, to breathe. Rick Almeida

July 3, 201213 yr I hope this is not a dumb question. But would I be right in assuming that the normal Project Opensky repaints in the download section will suit these wonderful aircraft? Bless you Francios. Frank
July 3, 201213 yr I absolutely LOVE these planes! AWESOME! I just have one problem though, I can't turn on any bleed air switches on the overhead. I click on them but nothing happens. Thanks! Keep up the GREAT work! - Jay Hutchinson
January 30, 201313 yr Hi all. I can't work out the panel :( How do I set the ALT and SPEED, etc? Are their any tutorials kicking around? I am probably missing something simple but hey ho these things happen. Any help would be grately appreciated. Cheers
January 31, 201313 yr Altitude and speed, as well as heading and autopilot functions, are set on the control panel at the top of the panel in the cockpit. Are you familiar with the default MS Airbus? This one is very similar - similar to the Boeings, in fact. There is also a 50+ page user manual included in the download. Hans Soule
