Aerosim 787 fsx released

I'd love to know what freeware FS9 aircraft you had which looked like that.

PTSim Tu-154M ... looked way better than this 787.

The test I use now when deciding to buy a new airliner for FSX is "Will I fly it rather than the NGX?" and I doubt very much that this would tempt me out of the NGX virtual cockpit.

Haha, that's the same test I use and the reason I have uninstalled all my other airliners that I used prior to the NGX, with the exception of the PMDG 747 and LDS 767, but those dont even get anymore use since the NGX.

Nope, I agree the PT 154 is good, but it didn't look better, compare the throttle quadrant polygon count for example:

Im sorry, I was speaking about external model of airplane. Indeed 787 VC is much smoother and textures are higher resolution, but still, I like that 3d gauges in 154.

Other things we should not even try to compare, different class of addon, different target audience...

Yup, that was really the point I was making - it's a different product aimed at a different market - looks rather than systems fidelity, which plenty of flight simmers want of course, although probably not many who frequent the PMDG forum, so it was kind of bizarre of the OP to post this here anyway.

i wonder what this has to do with PMDG?

Nothing... What was there to wonder about that?

This is the general forum... Many non PMDG things are talked about/released here....

Awe man... I fed the troll.... :Straight Face:

Incidentally, I contacted the AeroSim guys and asked them if there was going to be a dedicated English language version of their 787 for sale via their English part of the website, and the answer is 'yes, it is on the way'. So if anyone is interested in this add-on and, like me, is not great at Japanese, then you can look forward to that.

The biggest problem we all have at the moment, is that new addons have to be really good because otherwise nobody could get us out of the NGX cockpit :D Oh... wait.. did i say it is a problem? It´s the way it should be :LMAO:

hmm to be honest, i still like the TU154 VC more than the one from this 787.

The lack of proper flying and lack of reasonable frame rate makes it so painful for watch.

Hmm waiting for English version. It is going to take a while from QW to get their 787 out anyway so this could be great value till that, and why not even after.

Weak sauce. I'll wait for the QW attempt.

+1

It's like flying in FS2002 all over again. Graphics are ridiculous :LMAO:

I wonder if they'll revise the purchase price when the QW model is released, or the PMDG for that matter. There's gotta be a good number of vrtual pilots out there who would go for a lite-787 but not at the current price
