I got few question before I actually jump in the water with all of you guys.

Please note that all my questions refers to v1.3 or above.

 

1) I have Saitek Yoak/Rudder/Radio Panel, do they work well with P3D?

2) I have VoxATC on my FSX, did any one try it out on P3D?

3) are the "Control" Settings (settings your Contorls, e.g. buttons, Axis, etc) is easy an intuitive as FSX?

4) SquawkBox and/or FSINN work with P3D?

5) 737NGX w/SP1c works with P3D?

6) FS2Crew NGX Button Control works with P3D?

7) AES and/or GSX works with P3D?

8) *.PLN / *.FLT are the same format as FSX? i.e. if I have PLN files imported from FSX, would they work on P3D?

 

NOTE: all the question I asked regarding if they work on P3D should be a simple "YES/NO/Partial" Answer, you could add some comments, but I am not interested in Instruction on how to make it work.

those are my pre-req that needs to work for Migrating to P3D.

As for 1. They should work as well unless they need FSUIPC, in that case you must install the latest FSUIPC version that has P3D support. I cannot answer for the other add-ons.

I don't use FSUIPC for the Saitek controls, so I belive they should work.

7. Even easier than moving, the P3D GUI allows you to browse to the FSX files in My Documents and select a plan from there.

Yes and No. it does work but I get a SBtrans.dll unloading error when shutting down P3D. Sure it has something to do with the SB4 transponder dll and the P3D DLL.XML and file locations?> We all know , SB4 is not going to be upgraded.

as long as SB works while I am in P3D , I don't see this little hiccup as a problem.

other then when closing P3D, do you see any issues with the SB while running it in P3D?

Just finished building the P3D (after a clean Computer format)., installed UTX/GEX & FS Global..

so far works smoothly.

I will soo get to the VoxATC (by the EOW I believe).

I'll keep you posted.

I would be interested to know how you get on with VoxATC in P3D, as I use this exclusively now.

Just out of curiosity. Have you tried accessing the addon menu, from the menus bar, for UT2 during flight? The reason I ask because I would get a menus.dll error on occasion when doing so. So I classified it as kinda works.
