June 3, 201214 yr I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction for a simple tutorial for the 737 Cliff Cliff Harris
June 3, 201214 yr What are you hoping for when you say 'simple' tutorial? If you mean "how do I fly it like an MS default plane?" the short is that you can't. You do have to fly this aircraft the same way a real pilot does. There are a few short cuts such as starting with the engines running and nobody dies when you crash, but other then that... June 4, 201214 yr I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction for a simple tutorial for the 737 Cliff Hi Cliff welcome to the forums. There is no way I can teach you how to fly the NGX from here, however all is not lost! There are tutorial flights and a couple of manuals that are included with your purchase - those will put you off to a good start! I suggest you be familiar with a wide range of other aircraft and a wide range of aircraft terminology before attempting to fly the NGX. You see it was never designed for the average install and play pilot - all these things can look intimidating but with hard work and determination you shall be able to master the beauty we call the NGX. If you are not the reading typed guy, there are several tutorials online that will guide you, audibly and visual - it would be so easy then, you won't even have to know what you're doing just click away! However I don't want you to adopt the mentality that this is an addon you can throw around, I really would like you to learn. In the end ; it's your money spent and you deserve to know how to fly your bird. Good luck, Cliff.

June 5, 201213 yr Where I am most rusty is programming routes from scratch into the FMC. Seems I'm always running into snags, like a route discontinuity after flying over an airport and into a holding position. Would be nice if anyone has some interesting routes similar to Ryan's Tut 1 that they wouldn't mind sharing. Ed Burton www.737ngxca.com
