So, tell us about how it functions. How's the VC? Is everything functional and clickable? How's the manual? I've been looking at it out of the corner of my eye...something high performance with a good amount of visibility. Actually saw one of these at an airport I was flying out of years ago and I just stood there and drooled...then I crawled over to my lowly, rented, C152.

Well there's a another thread discussing this aircraft but I think it's safe to say, this is one of the addons you just get without thinking! It's absolutely brilliant in every aspect  Great cockpit layout with well readable instruments, configurator that let you set up graphics (reflections etc.), sounds and even how much aircraft shakes during different situations as stall, ground roll, overspeed etc. The aircraft handles well in the air and if you are not careful enough, you can even damage your flaps due to overspeed. There are manuals for aircraft itself, autopilot and even checklist and little FAQ if you are having any issues with the addon. I used Cessnas for my GA flights in FSX but not anymore!

Cheers, George.

That's good. I've been looking at it. Also looking at the Eaglesoft SR22 (and I know Carenado is working on one). I don't have any experience with RealAir or Eaglesoft. I assume they both make excellent aircraft???

RealAir is an excellent planemaker, their Duke or Spitfire are really great airplanes. However I don't know nothing about Eaglesoft, I guess their SR22 is also very good, but it has glass cockpit. I don't know about you, but I personally prefer classic gauges in GA, it has better readibility and it's also less FPS demading, but that's maybe just matter of taste.

And I wouldn't care about Carenado. They are making good planes, but they are not showing any progress. They added better textures, effects and sound over the years, but that's it. Nothing special. I guess they can't suprise anymore.

Cheers, George.

Ok. I'll give it a try. As far as the SR22, I've always wanted one...seems like they put a lot of thought into designing the real aircraft. Carenado also has a TBM850 in the works but it's all glass too. But, wow, what an airplane...

I love the way, in the middle of all the careful detail, the instrument needles bounce. I wish I could say how accurate the flight modelling is but I've never flown it IRL. I can't say I'll fly it much (after flying it, it's not the kind of airplane that I would own) but there's an extreme attention to detail.

I should add that after seeing the beautiful job they did on this aircraft, I bought their Duke package and am EXTREMELY pleased. I'm looking forward to see what they work on next!
