July 24, 201213 yr Question for the developers- Yesterday, I was doing a night flight with the BT-67. I had the cockpit lighting on and when looking at the aircraft in spot view, I noticed a little bit of light leaking through the side of the fuselage by one of the hinges for the small access door behind the pilots seat in the cockpit. It looked like the light was coming through a seam. I tried getting a screenshot of it, but the light wasn't very clear in the shot. Was this door ever considered to be modeled as an animation so the door would open up?

July 24, 201213 yr Stevens Express Leasing Inc (N845S) Go it, installing now. Thanks. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
July 25, 201213 yr I first off wish to thank all those involved bringing this beautiful freeware model to us all, from development, to tweaks to support. A great community. Thank you. I am new to this type of plane, so excuse my ignorance. 1) I can't start the engines. Missing something, but don't know what. My guess is the engines aren't getting fuel. The fuel pumps are on, standby pumps on auto, and the conditioner lever is about midway. Engine switches on start, and engines spool when start buttonpushed. 2) I have installed the new Phase 1 guage package. They are just solid black faces. Again, I must have missed an instruction somewhere. RM Killins
July 25, 201213 yr Don't worry, the plane helps you. Not only with that manual, but also with the control panel on Shift-3. If you hover your mouse cursor over the engine start text, it will show you a tooltip hint. Could be a tip on what to do next or that you have to wait as you've enabled the fuel too soon. Pretty neat stuff. You will like it. The items are also colour coded, so the red any yellow ones will catch your eyes.
July 25, 201213 yr Thanks CoolP for the reply. I had discovered the control panel, but didn't realize that there were helpful tips to go with it. I'll check it out. And honestly, I guess I was just too excited to install and fly that I failed to check to see if there was a manual or not. Now ... just to sort out the gauge issue ... RM Killins

July 25, 201213 yr Thanks again, Cheese Strike. You do great work! I am eagerly looking forward to the Forest Service livery.
July 26, 201213 yr Hi guys When I look out the left window I see the engine and wing, and I watch the prop as the engine spools up. But sitting in the right seat I can't see any right engine or wing. Is it just left out to improve FPS because people are usually in the left seat? Or is it supposed to be there and a problem in my install? Many thanks Ps. I do see the lights on the right wing flashing in the air but no wing
July 26, 201213 yr I guess you've hit the nail on the head, Dan. Is it just left out to improve FPS because people are usually in the left seat? Happens here too and I think you are assuming correctly.
July 26, 201213 yr That's ok with me, I won't ask for a refund :) By the way did you get weather radar and panel mods into 2.0? Or do we need a new model?
July 26, 201213 yr That's ok with me, I won't ask for a refund :) The WR stuff works with the DIY internal model file, same as on V1. So my guess is that these files are fine for V1 and V2. http://forum.avsim.n...75#entry2418629 The all blank will level the GPS spot, the other one will just allow for a new radio stack, in the middle of the panel. That's what I'm using.
July 26, 201213 yr By the way did you get weather radar and panel mods into 2.0? I am running the DIY all blank that coolp linked to with the version 2 release and I have not had any issues. And here is a screen cap from my first test flight with the new gauges that's currently in progress: Should be released soon. I got a couple small changes to make.
