July 21, 201213 yr yea ...... yea Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
July 21, 201213 yr It's not the same model as PMDG anyway. If you're not in a hurry then I would wait and see what the Milviz 737 is like. Their B55 is real quality.
July 21, 201213 yr Im very picky and I find it very enjoyable. Only probs I have had is CTD when trying to use the engine conrtol system & (Cant think of the proper name of it). PD somethin or nother.
July 21, 201213 yr Author Milviz is doing a 732? CPU: i7-9700KF stable @ 5.0GHz | MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero | GPU: ASUS GTX 1080 Ti @ stock | RAM: G. Skill Trident Z 32GB (2x16GB) 3200Mhz | PSU: Corsair RM850x 80 Plus | COOLING: Deepcool Castle 240 AIO | PANEL: 27" @ 1080p
July 21, 201213 yr Milviz is doing a 732? Yes, and it is pretty far along. They have some very good photos of it on their facebook page, and there is a takeoff video on youtube with the airplane in an alpha state. Shane Gavin
July 21, 201213 yr The PDCS (gives you the correct EPR settings) is causing CTDs everytime I try to use it. The flight dynamics need some tweaking, a good user tweak can be found on their forum. Other than that, it is just another beautiful looking CS release! I prefer the Blackbox (JustFlight) 737 professional. It has a few smaller issues, but the PDCS and the complete autopilot are modelled in full depth, it really is very much fun to fly!
July 21, 201213 yr I really enjoy the CS 737-200. Great sounds, especially on t/o when the volume is turned up, fantastic bells and whistles like pax cabin and escape chutes, great features and animations, and excellent feel and visuals; for me, they've captured the age of the a/c nicely. It does have niggles, some serious like the CTD, which hopefully CS will resolve. I've heard great things about the 737 Pro, but personally, I am delighted with the CS. Just take a close look at some YouTube videos and/or screenies of the two, IMHO, CS have nailed the VC and have included exceptional eye candy and feel, and it's a joy to fly. Mr Fabio Lagattolla"It's better to be on the ground wishing you were flying, than flying but wishing you were on the ground!"
July 22, 201213 yr I'm very impressed by how good the framerate is, given the high level of detail (I think graphically this addon is absolutely perfect). The flight model is excellent, and the tweaks I've made only involve drag and thrust factor parameters. I have completely avoided the PDCS crashes by simply not clicking the buttons too fast. I've had a miserable time with the CWS pitch function but since I don't see anyone else complaining about it I think maybe it's just my 12 year old CH yoke ? Bud Estrada
July 22, 201213 yr The PDCS surely is a thing needing some more SP. Thanks to Bud's FDE tweaks, the plane is flying and operating nicely for me. Thanks again, Bud! The framerates are best among my CS planes so far, perhaps the 727 is equally good but looks way older. There's another user mod adding FO callouts and a neat performance overview for EPR values and TO speeds. That's a thing to get and add.

I have the FDE mod but would like the call outs and be able to use EPR settings without the PDCS. Have it close anyway.
July 22, 201213 yr The thread is here. http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1337557332 And the gauge is in the Avsim library. Here's the Avsim based announcement. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/374544-v-one-gauge-for-b737-200adv-with-call-out-sounds/

May 31, 201313 yr Would like to bump this year old thread to see if any new Milviz info has come about, release soon? And if all the bugs have now been worked out of the Captain Sim 737?
May 31, 201313 yr The Captain Sim version hasn't been fixed. As Usual. The Milviz version should be close since they sold 75 pre-orders. I actually prefer the setup in the Captain Sim version with the PDCS and the SP77, however they need to fix it. It would be a dream to have 2 good 737-200's with different configs.
