Hi guys,

Between the two, you like which ?

Why do you love more than the other (ASA/SWA) ?

I love Alaska Airlines but I have a preference for Southwest Airlines. I do not know how to explain it.

Southwest all the way. I fly them all the time for business and I am currently A-List. Free checked bags.

Well both are very good airlines. I am a little bias since I once worked for SWA ;) SWA has more creative liveries than ASA. ASA in the last 5-10 year started pumping out more liveries and a few good ones. My vote SWA if you couldn't tell.

Nice pic's did you take those yourself?

To look at or fly? Alaska is a full service carrier with better than average customer service. They take care of their frequent flyers better than any legacy carrier, are liberal with upgrades, and have far nicer and friendlier cabin staff than all but Southwest. If you fly on business in the PNW, Alaska is the way to go. Heck, they don't even charge their Gold flyers ticket change fees - and the also let them stand by at no charge.

Good airline.

PS - love the Timber's plane!

I have never flown on any of them, so I can't judge. But, I do like SWA's livery better, and also, the free checked bags thing is nice.

Alaska all the way and every day! From the west coast to the east coast, Mexico to the great state of Alaska and Hawaii, Alaska has a powerful product that SWA has yet to touch IMO. Plus they sign my paycheck....

They have pioneered the use of the HGS and RNP arrivals and approaches. They opperate in places most airlines wouldn't and couldn't touch.

You're absolutely right

When I flight in Western and North Western U.S., I take Alaska Airlines and for Eastern and North-East, I take Southwest.

Well I have never flown on either in real life but in the sim I tend to fly Southwest much more. I have flown a few Alaska routes up to PANC and PAKT but I mostly fly southern routes so Southwest it is and I just love the canyon blue and the special liveries.

While I love them both, the diversity of destinations offered by Southwest to both very small and large mainline airports across the entire country gives me more options day-to-day that I sometimes just do not know what to do! Anytime I head up to PANC or fly out to Hawaii I always use Alaska though! Great pictures btw, I love seeing more and more custom liveries come out, changes the scenery at the airport and really draws your attention.

Kyle

Ah darn I feel kinda guilty for breaking the balance:

Alaska and Southwest both had 25 votes, now Southwest has one more...

The vote is very tight

I'm a bit slanted towards Alaska as I don't wan't go to all the way down to MDW to catch a flight (and not a fan of tiny airports).
