July 25, 201213 yr Hasn't this been out for sometime? No. This package includes also B (STOVL) and C (CATOBAR) model. A (CTOL) has been upgraded. It's a whole new package. Cheers, George.
July 25, 201213 yr No. This package includes also B (STOVL) and C (CATOBAR) model. A (CTOL) has been upgraded. It's a whole new package. It's also a general '2.0' version of his first F-35. Anyone have pics of the VC or comments on the flight model?
July 25, 201213 yr I bought it and the autothrottle does not work for me. Everything else seems to work OK. I sent a PM to Dino and asked about it. I love it so far. Bob.
July 25, 201213 yr Is the HUD collimated? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
July 25, 201213 yr This is terrific value by the way... The STOVL simulation is really well done, and the controls are intuitive for it. Glass is simple with touch screen interaction, and not too hard on FPS. Flight model is nice (who has actually flown an f35 lol) and to me feels believable Highly recommended. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
July 26, 201213 yr Ryan, How about sound? What sound files are you using? Keith I've not changed them.. they probably are default F18 sounds... | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
July 26, 201213 yr Author I've not changed them.. they probably are default F18 sounds... Yup, sounds are aliased to default F/A-18. Florian
July 26, 201213 yr How good is it compared to his freeware trainer (I believe it was a Goshawk if I remember correctly) Johan Pettersen
July 26, 201213 yr How good is it compared to his freeware trainer (I believe it was a Goshawk if I remember correctly) Good in what? It's difficult to compare freeware NATOPS trainer with payware hi-tech supersonic combat aircraft in 3 variants. Both external and internal modeling is excellent, texturing and animations also. Sound is aliased from default hornet but that's understandable since it's not possible to record P&W F135 at this time. Aircraft handles pretty well and STOVL model is really fun to fly. Touch screen is well readable and intuitive, HUD is collimated and has clear symbology. Included manual explains everyting in the aircraft well and also teaches you how to operate in STOVL mode. By the way, new simMarket link: http://secure.simmar...i-project.phtml Cheers, George.

I'll put it this way, if you like the freeware planes he has out (Tomcat and Goshhawk) you'll fall in love with the F-35.
