August 9, 201213 yr Hi, Novice alert here: the route you mentioned, is it just starting out at DUBlin, go to some waypoints, then back to DUBlin? Thanks Hi Those are IATA airport codes. So your right it's Dublin then ? then Shannon then Cork then back to Dublin. Cheers Lee Sent using Tapatalk
August 9, 201213 yr Hi Those are IATA airport codes. So your right it's Dublin then ? then Shannon then Cork then back to Dublin. Cheers Lee Sent using Tapatalk You mean take off/landing in all those airports and back in 30 minutes fly time? Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. August 9, 201213 yr I'm not familiar with the flight, but Ireland's not that big so it could be done in a jet. Did You use to fly this one in real life Ronan? P.S Sorry about the o and a in your name I'm on an iPad. Lee Sent using Tapatalk
August 9, 201213 yr Without looking up the IATA codes I guess it would be Dublin-Belfast-Shannon-Cork-Dublin. I assumed he meant 30 mins each leg. I couldn't imagine the whole thing being done in 30 mins even if they were just touch and goes. Jay Vorkapic
August 9, 201213 yr Ahh that was it Belfast, and yeah 30 minutes each leg would be correct Sent using Tapatalk
August 9, 201213 yr I never use accellerated time when i fly long haul i just do other things and monitor the progress of my flight from time to time, EGCC TO LCLK being my favourite route, now i have the NGX its gonna be more sweet cant wait for this tripple 7 too
August 9, 201213 yr Cruising is boring like hell so, 1h or less. I don't care if it's not realistic. You must be new here.. Brandon Binder Drei Tage war der Vater krank - jetzt trinkt er wieder - Gott sei dank!
August 9, 201213 yr Sorry for the delay. Indeed it is Dublin International to Belfast Aldergrove to Shannon Airport to Cork Airport then Back to Dublin International. Each individual leg is about 30mins roughly if you do a full procedure approach... Ireland's not that big. I take offence at that... :P Did You use to fly this one in real life Ronan? No, but used do DUB -> SNN back when the Shannon stop-over was enforced... About 30mins flight time... DUB -> ORK used also be operated by us back in the 90's with Short 360's, until after 9/11 when that whole aspect of our operations was withdrawn... P.S Sorry about the o and a in your name I'm on an iPad. No bother at all, sure half the people on here don't get them right. Not that big a difference in pronunciation anyways between Ronan and Rónán.... Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
August 9, 201213 yr I just finished a FRA-SIN leg with the good old 748, 11 hours and I want more! Bring on the FRA-SYD madness!
August 9, 201213 yr 6-12 hours for me... I swore I would never fly for 16 hours straight in FSX again! :P Iv'e never touched the accelerated time option as I think its a useless feature in FSX. Yes it is. Dev Singh
August 9, 201213 yr I swore I would never fly for 16 hours straight in FSX again! Yes, those sad days before the PMDG 777 came out. Ron Priever
August 10, 201213 yr I will most likely do a Dubai to Durban (FALE) flight for Emirates to get used it to a bit and look around and then do my BAv flights... Marc M.
August 10, 201213 yr I gu.. Yes, I cannot wait to fly into KSFO with her. San Francisco's arrival GOLDN5 (or 6, it's always changing!) is one of my favourites. Even on the sim. - Luke Pabari
