Expert was a bad word so maybe replace it with specialist. In the case of PMDG and Aerowinx Expert Specialists might be more appropriate :-) You could also add obsessive, a labour of love, perfectionist and uneconomical as Im sure the hours placed into both would warrant a higher unit charge if all the hours were properly charged ;-)in creating these beautiesPeter

Peter,I haven't tried either of the aircraft you mentioned since I tend to be partial to G.A., but based on your reputation, maybe I need to give them a try! Here are my favorites:Freeware:RealAir C172... It handles beautifully.Trans Global Aircraft's Virtual Schneider Trophy (it's a real hoot to fly at 300 mph, 100 feet above the water, and this package has obviously been put together with tender loving care).Payware:Bill Lyons' Golden Hawaii and Classic Goose... Instead of just modelling an airplane, Bill creates an entire world (kind of like "Myst" for pilots).RealAir Scout... As is typical for RealAir, it handles beautifully.RealAir Decathlon... Another Rob Young success story.(Prepare to insert MAAM R4D/DC-3/C-47 here.)Project Sierra Hotel T-37 TweetCaptain Sim MiG-21Best regards,Ken

PMDG 737 series and CS 727 for medium airliners and the RFP 747-200 for a true heavy simulation. Don't do much flying of anything smaller but I have the MAAM DC-3 on order and I'm really looking forward to it. billg

KenBill Lyons has always produced "character" aircraft which have captured the feel of old aircraft. He has an amazing ability to create true atmosphere in his aircraft as have all the others you have mentioned. This X factor is the illusive ingredient which is so important in making the sim pilot feel that he is truly behind the controls of a real aircraft in Real air yet that X factor is so hard to achieve.Peter

Dash 8 ... any model ... by fanda.

Hello Peter,Very interesting topic. I too am astonished the quality of aircraft availble for flight sim. Hey Peter,That would be Aeroworx and FFS, not Aerowinx ;). And oh, how right you are about unit price and hours invested. We at FFS all work full time on this, this is our sole source of income. We really make very little money ourselves, but we are working hard to try and change that, make more products, increase quality, etc.. On the upside, being in front of the computers all day allows us to have a Customer Service second to none ;).

No doubt about your talents Fabio. Congratulations for the release of the B200. However, maybe it was meant Aeroworx and written Aerowinx, nevertheless, I don't think it is fair to imply not giving credit to AEROWINX as "experts" (to be understood in the context of this thread), the vendor of the PS1 747 simulator!!www.aerowinx.comSecond to none in its field!Hope this helps!

Totally agree to your point. I have a very small handful of airplanes that if I lost EVERYTHING else, I'd be fine. For methese includeDreamfleet C-177 RG CardinalF1 Cessna 421F1 Cessna 441 Conquest II (this one is truly awesome especially with RXP gauges.Dreamfleet Archer IIRA SF.260Carenado T-34. (this is a basic airplane, but the VC is well done and I can fly almost entirely in VC and love it.)Dont own the PMDG 737 or the B200 (yet). However based on the pics...think they make the list for sure. Personally, I think MS should concentrate on AI and the game world and leave the airplanes to the 3rd parties!Eric
