Looks like a great external model and texture! Its a shame it didnt get a great cockpit to go along with it.

A great job well done :) I'm hoping one has! I know, I know, the tooth fairy was a figment of my imagination.

Just to make things clear, the C-46 is not my work. I didnt model ANYTHING that didnt have a cockpit. This no-cockpit BS wasent even known to me when I worked on Flight and happened after I left. Its a good thing it happened after, as I would not of put up with it. I would of made sure everything had at LEAST a very basic cockpit with a 6 pack MINIMUM. Then again it would not of been my choice and im sure I would of been fired soon. ;)

How was Flight before you left? Was it more like FSX? (not dumbed down as much)

Well, it didnt have this no-cockpit BS thats for sure! What Flight is today, and what I worked on are two different products it seems. One had a plan for advancement, and it seems the other didnt, or the advancement was in the wrong direction. Since im under NDA, thats all im going to say.

The Flight team really did want to make a great product, and you can tell that by how well it does what they were allowed to do. From visuals, performance, flight modeling, and the checklist, everything was an advancement from FSX. The biggest problem I think with Flight was the CONTENT, or lack of.

Yes, I could see the great work that was poured into Flight. Too bad it didn't evolve much, or wasn't FS11.

Well who the heck was in charge before Mr Howard entered the picture?

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Ok, we got what we got. This is not the lighter Sky Train(C47/DC-3) it is more of a SkyTruck. If you wheel land it you can't force the tail down or it will baloon if it is rolling to fast. That means you are on the rudder pedels and breaks untill it is stopped. You can 3 point it but you better be right on the money. This is no RV-6, it is a lot more demanding.and much less forgiving. Especially in single pilot operation like we have here. Watch out for the FAA. Clandestine jobs should be challenge.

Was I the only one thinking this was going to be free? Good job I don't want it as it has no cockpit

You got to be kidding!

You got to be kidding!

Nope, the game is done and discontinued the people involved in making the plane are no longer employed by the studio. That money is going straight to the pockets of the management who mismanaged the project from day one. Would have been a nice gift to say bye

Actually, I thought it might be free. Make no mistake, that is a far cry from thinking that it SHOULD be free, and it's nothing like thinking that we DESERVE it for free. No entitlement here.

But, given what's happened, I kinda suspected that it might have been a goodbye present. Game companies sometimes do things like that, mostly as a PR thing, to ease negative feelings and lock down future business. Freebies are not unheard of in this business. Again, none of this reflects feelings that they are obligated, or anything like that.

Anyhoo, does anybody have a quick tutorial on how to move the default view to inside the pseudo cockpit? Haven't bought it but I am debating.....

Move the eyepoint back with ctrl Q Be patient it moves very slowly

Hi guys.

Kentoo’s way works fine.

But this seems faster:

Using the mouse: Rotate Your view to the right, then press the scroll button an pan back (several times) until you are on top of the avatar, then adjust with keys. Save game.

Ramón.
Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

good idea....

saving the game...how does that help? the minute I reset my view, it will snap back to the nose of the plane, yes?
