What happened to the Dash 8 project? Its not even an option. Did I miss something? I havnt seen it cancelled anywhere.

 

Love the heavies so Ill be buying the 747 since i dont have the original, and the T7. Cant wait.

 

However I still dont have a good turboprop for regional flights. Was hoping there would be more info on the Dash 8

They had it mostly done in two or so updates back and were looking for people to beta it. Work that needed done couldn't be done due to those people working on the 777. However that was a while ago now so things probably have changed. They may have put it on hold due to the 777 needing priority! Could come out tommorow! Never know :-)

Where is all the hype and excitement for it then. I hardly see it mentioned. Is no one excited to see a new turboprop? I was considering to buy the JS41 but saw that the dash was an intended project

I can't see a demand for it right now (DC6). So from a business point of view it'd be more beneficial for them to get the 777 out there quicker. The 777 forum is fairly quiet in my eyes but outside of the forums there are lots and lots of people that want it.

I would buy B777 then B747v2, maybe DC-6 if I can find Loftleiðir livery (Icelandair to day)

definitely 777+expansions and the queen as well, love both of them. I don't really care for the DC-6, I'm not into these old things looking forward...

For me its the T7 first then followed by the 747 v2 i will not buy the DC-6 because im no fan of the old prop planes.

Interesting question.

 

A few years ago when I moved from FS2004 to FSX I was most impressed with PMDG's products, first the 747-400 then the MD11, followed by the JS4100 which was an interesting change to the norm of large commercial jets. Then came the 737NGX and the bar rose higher still...............I have all four of these in my hanger and they all work very well indeed, such depth of systems and such wonderful virtual cockpits and exteriors.

 

The most wonderful thing for me, in our hobby, is the chance to try out new aircraft and adventures. Recently I flew from the Shetlands UK, to Spitsbergen Norway, recreating the flights of RAF Coastal command in WW2 using the Aerosoft CatalinaX. Then the next day, flew A2A's Spitfire and the day after, their Mustang, then the 737NGX the A2A B377 and the list goes on. Each day is a new experience.

 

So for me I would have to say we already have some great Jets and I'm most looking forward to a PMDG quality Propliner, cargo or passenger, doesn't matter............Something that would at last be an equal to A2A's Stratocruiser but in real life was longer lived.

 

So for me it would have to be 1, DC6..............2, 777 and 3, 747-400

I need one modern long-hauler, but not more. As a mostly a short/medium-haul flyer, I have no use for two long-rangers, so I'll skip the 747.

777 is my big "can't wait" aircraft. I'll deftinatley be flying it heaps once I get it.

 

747, I'll be buying the day it's released, but I suspect that it won't get as much flying time as the 777... however as a worldflight.com.au previous crew, the 747 certainly has my interest.

 

DC6 not so much yet. I will probably hold off from buying it till something crazy happens like someone on Vatsim making a whole series of flyins that need the DC6 or something like it. I'd rather have a PMDG DC6 than a freeware constellation or similar filling in for one while flying in online events, but that's the only reason I can see myself getting the PMDG DC6, so I can make videos of me flying it online. It might take a few months after release to get me into that though.

there's absolutely no question here, the DC6 doesn't even interest me. i cant wait for a full simulate with great great graphics 747. IMHO, the 747 is one of his kind.
