September 22, 201213 yr Hi All, Just a question/poll to fellow Ultimate Traffic 2 Users out there. In days gone by when I was using the original Ultimate Traffic in FS9 I replaced all my AI models with those available from AI Aardvark, TFS, DJC and others to get my AI looking the best I could. Now that I have fully migrated over to FSX and am starting to set up UT2 beyond the default install I thought I'd ask my fellow flight simmers what models they like to use in UT2? So use the poll to cast your vote and feel free to make a comment and give me some feedback on what you've found works best for you. -Anthony Young- "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." - Leonardo da Vinci

September 22, 201213 yr I use the stock flight plan files as its a pain going through and fixing all the repaints, and ive never seen a daedalus paint job with the stock flight plan files That's because you probably have the option to display daedalus paints turned off (As do I!) I use basically Stock models as they work best with UT2, The only exception is for FEDEX and UPS which I set up with the UT2 powertools. September 22, 201213 yr I see more Daedalus repaints then I care for, I'm afraid. I confess that I even didn't know you could replace them. So I have some reading to do and I will follow this thread very closely. A very humble and ignorant me. Jos

I doubt we'll be that lucky... September 22, 201213 yr I rarely see Daedalus paints but it is because I spent a lot of time replacing/adding paints. I have the repaint list down to about 100 aircraft and the last time I revamps my traffic was last summer. I could probably get the list a little smaller but I'd rather wait until I switch schedules to do all the work. It sounds like I'll probably be doing it after the winter schedules are released. It really does take a lot of time to download and install all of the needed paints but I have been doing it every 12-18 months since UT Classic was released in 2003. When finished, I think the result is very satisfying especially when you add in all of the special liveries. I also add a lot of schedules that are not in UT2 but I don't add the through Powerpack. I just convert them to FSX and drop the traffic.bgl in to FSX. I have over 400 bgls in FSX right now on top of my UT2 traffic. September 22, 201213 yr My interest is GA, so I use the UT2 default Commercial and have supplemented, or replaced the FSX default aircraft used by UT2 with AI specific models from various authors.

September 30, 201213 yr Beta Winter 12-13 is out: http://ut2.flight1.n...w=article&id=57 So no more NWA?! It is about time. I run Mytraffic X with UT2 for the cargo and many other airlines left out. My Traffic X has the great UT2 mode. So I turned Delta off in UT2 and use MTX Delta right now. It would be great to get Delta UT2 in. Now all they need to do is United and I am happy. I have not downloaded an updated schedule since I bought it over 2 years ago. I have a bunch of add on schedules though I made myself. Does getting an updated schedule change them or get rid of them? Or because it is a different "database" it leaves them alone? Steven Herzberg, "I rather be flying"

But if one of those appears in the main UT2 weekly official database, just delete it from there in case you like yours more and to avoid duplication.
