October 4, 201213 yr Hi, This probably isn't the right forum for this post, but I felt folks may be interested to hear of the loss of six friends in the crash of a rebuilt vintage De Havilland Dragon DH-84 (1934) in Queensland, Australia. The plane was returning from a air show when the pilot ran into difficulties in bad weather. The DH-84 was one of a remaining four in the world. http://www.abc.net.a...m?site=sunshine Bruce H (Oz)
October 4, 201213 yr I heard about this on the news yesterday morning and it is indeed sad to hear, especially since the pilot had previously survived a similar incident in the same type of aircraft when he was younger that had claimed the life of his father. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of all those involved. Michael R
