October 8, 201213 yr With all the fires out there in the last year or so, I came across this video (sent by a friend) of the superb CL 214-2 Firefighter doing its thing. It's commented on in Spanish only, but those of you who cannot speak Spanish will still understand it fully. These Spaniards have their section tactics tweaked beautifully. Please note how they are honking the controls around! http://vimeo.com/48642618 Stan
October 8, 201213 yr Do they have a fire fighting mission in FSX? I have never been one for missions but that could be interesting. October 9, 201213 yr Great video! Those controls were being yanked all over the place! Alexander Alonso
October 9, 201213 yr Fantastic video ! It could've been ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC if it would've been accompanied by a life sound track instead of a crappy rock song... Do they have a fire fighting mission in FSX? No, we have not and IMHO that's quite mystery.... We can have fires as much as we want, we can have loads of firefighting aircraft too. They can visually drop waterloads or even retardant but what they cannot do is kill the fire.. ( in FS9 that is... i'm almost sure it must be possible in FSX ) A mystery to me why non of the commercial devs recognises the potential of such a firefighting scheme... What could be more exiting in a civilian flight simulation ?.... I, for one, have been waiting all my FS life to be able to play 'Always' in FS... Jan
October 9, 201213 yr Author That was a great! Sorry I had to move it Stan but it's forum rules.... Best regards, Jim Yeah, Jim. Me too. It certainly won't get the views here as it would have on the FSX forum, but I totally understand. Stan
