October 14, 201213 yr Hi Captains New driver from Nvidia is released. Works good for me so far on GTX 590. Any other experience so far? BTW. It seems to be for W8. Any thoughts on this? Peter Frey LSZH
October 14, 201213 yr Is it friendly to FSUIPC? An earlier beta was causing me problems there. Everything is working fine here with FSUIPC Registered and this driver.
October 14, 201213 yr Works fine with FSX Acceleration and W7 except for a small fluttery hiccup when switching views that wasn't there with 306.23. Any thoughts? Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
October 15, 201213 yr Installed 306.97, seem to have lost AA quality. I have tried several AA settings in Inspector and using FXAA. AA was farily nice before 306.24. Oh well, upgrading to a GTX670 from my GTX560TI OC in a couple weeks. Danny
October 15, 201213 yr I have found that installing new Nvidia drivers slightly alters the settings in the NV Inspector. After each installation, you have to go back and check and reset your NV settings. Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090

There are usually one or two settings changed. If in doubt look for the Word Not Allowed Nvidia Inspector settings. As usual i haven't experiencend problems or seen changes with the 306.97 drivers with my GTX 570 in Windows 7 - 64 bit. With kind regards, Bart S.
October 17, 201213 yr Good comments, guys. I am aware of the possibility of settings being changed by an upgrade. I did, indeed, confirm and or reset my original settings. The result was still a loss of AA quality. Danny Danny
October 17, 201213 yr HI Folks. Is there any official word from NVIDIA on how to upgrade their drivers? In the past I just downloaded and installed. Has worked. Someone on one of these forums say no, now one must uninstall the prevoius driver completely first. I cannot find anything on the NVIDIA site about what they say to upgrade to the newest driver. I would prefer not to have uninstall, and just use driver roll back if anything goes wrong. Thanks Greg Greg Clark

Just to be specific: The driver upgrade did change the following in my FSX Nvidia Inspector Setting: In ANTIALIASING \ Antialiasing-Behaviourflags: NONE was changed into APPLICATION SETTING. And because in my FSX in Settings-Display \ Graphics : Anti Aliasing is OFF (unmarked), at first i had no antialiasing ! With kind regards, Bart S.
December 2, 201213 yr Having a nightmare with this upgrade! Running Vista with a GTX285 and a 9800GT and my beautiful aircraft and scenery lines have been replaced with horrid zig-zags! I'm using 3 monitors with undocked views spread across. Just wondered if anyone else is having a similar issue? My FS settings confirm that correct resolution for each monitor but the end result is terrible. I've downloaded Nvidia Inspector but don'r really know if overclocking is the right option. The posts above all refer to W7 and W8, could it be a Vista issue? Any help greatly received, holidays approaching fast and currently grounded!
December 26, 201213 yr Is it friendly to FSUIPC? An earlier beta was causing me problems there. What issues with FSUIPC. I think I'm having issues with this driver and FSUIPC... Steve Giblin
December 26, 201213 yr A few months back I had a problem with an NVidia beta driver that was preventing FSUIPC from loading when using NVidia Surround (i.e., multi-monitor mode). I'd like to mention that Peter Dowson went well beyond the call of duty in trying to solve my problem, which ultimately was corrected by rolling back to an earlier driver version. You can read the gory details here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/72221-problem-re-fsuipc-bglmanxdll-and-simconnect/page__hl__nvidia BTW I've had no problems with the newer NVidia drivers, though I haven't loaded the very latest (310.70).
