October 31, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi guys, Just uploaded this video of my departure this morning out of Bergen in Norway. I demonstrate a derate takeoff [a must for 95% of departures] to prolong engine life. Also the NDAP 1 procedure [climb V2 to 3000ft, bug up speed, retract flaps on schedule> Aircraft clean = Vnav] Enjoy and please, if you enjoy, do share it around! October 31, 201213 yr Fantastic video, thanks for sharing! A couple of questions if you don't mind... 1) The "camera shake" effect during the takeoff roll, is that part of the NGX functionality or did you add that in for the purpose of the video? 2) The spoken dialogue between Capt and FO - is that FS2Crew? I don't know much about the product but I like the sound of it. 3) The view from the VC appeared to be subtly "swaying" as if with the turbulence, is that because you're using TrackIR or again is this part of the NGX? Sorry for the questions!

Sorry for the questions! Ask away! 1) It is a EZDOK Feature [see Q3] 2) It is Fs2crew! I will never fly without it, see my other videos as well for more on the FS2crew features. But the video above does go through the takeoff and climb procedure. 3) I don't own Trackir, [i didn't like it one bit]. It is all with Ezdok Alex Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! This EzDock sounds very promising, will have to do some research! ^_^ Thanks! Martin
October 31, 201213 yr Very nice. The weather looks lovely. Opus seems like it's doing a good job. Will need to see what REX does before I move on, but this video is encouraging! Edit: also, Martin: Ezdok is great. Flight 1 lets you try for 30 days, too. Paul Skol
October 31, 201213 yr I agree! Always fly this bird manually, at least to 10k feet. It handles so nicely. But why you don't use Opus cameras as well? I find them quite awesome! Like those shaky effects during departure and when flying low. And ah, Bergen, love flying there! Too bad it's a bit far away from my "hub" so I don't fly over there much often. So far only had RWY17 departures, have to make a U turn to heading FLO VOR. Awesome, awesome airport. Thinking about installing a SAS or Norwegian livery to fly around Scandinavian region, because it's so beautiful there! Dmitrij Nazarenko
November 1, 201213 yr I have Bergen free airport installed, not to bad either . Agree with hand fly, when I got the NGX it was way more than I could handle (fmc) So flew it 2 full months from A-B, certainly learnt a lot. but now I like to watch with dynamic head movement, ZORAN
