What will you do on your 777 longhauls

Okay, Thanks! ill look into registering my FSUIPC. I suppose I could save the panel conif in the FMC as well to keep the airplane at its exact current state as well. Not sure FSUIPC would do that to such detail?

Yes, FSUIPC will do that. When the flight starts back up it takes my FSX about 15-20 seconds to catch up and reload everything. Registering FSUPIC was one of the best purchases I think I've ever made for FS. I have mine set to autosave every 10 minutes and it keeps the last 5. As an example I had FSINN crash FSX during the cross the pond event last month when I was about 25% across the atlantic. I was able to get rebooted and back online in about 3 minutes.

Hey that would really be great! I think I'm going to go pick that up. Seems worth the money no doubt. Will it save FMC setups as well? Fuel etc? Aircraft Config?

Most of my longhauls are routes like EDDF-KJFK, EGLL-TNCM or maybe EDDF-KLAX as the longest. In the meantime, i watch 2 movies, eat something, checking the different fs-forums and voila.. the time is over :)

I dress in a cape, wander the streets, and solve the mysteries of old London Town.

After that, I watch documentaries on Anteaters.

Then, after a bath and a bagel, it's top of descent and we're off!

I have always been a long haul fan. The longer the flight the better sometimes both in real life and in FSX. In FS9 I really enjoyed the PSS 777LR so I am very excited to soon have the 777 back for FSX.

I plan on doing all types of trips with the 777 from MIA-LAX or MIA-JFK to MIA-EZE of LHR-NRT.

For a flight longer than 7-8 hours I try to time departure so I can get a full night sleep during the cruise. Yes I know I am not checking on stuff but that is by far the easiest way. If it is a daylight flight or maybe a 4pm departure from the U.S. and a morning arrival in Europe which would be a 2amish arrival U.S. time I go ahead and moniter the flight but go along with my normal daily stuff I would be doing. A flight like that only happens during a holiday off or a weekend so I may leave the house for a hour or two. Do some excercise watch some sports, surf the net etc..

Years ago I was taking a summer class in high school and I remember waking up early to do MIA-NRT in the default 744! Took off at 6:30am and did not land until like 9pm. I went to school had lunch and dinner and even went to the gym for a hour that day. I think I had dinner out of the house too.

One flight that I know will take a very long time to complete will be when I fly MIA-BOM. Around 17 hours!

Steven Herzberg,

"I rather be flying"

Usually during cruise is the only time I get to do my homework,

I imagine 10 hours is more than enough time to catch up on assignments!

Long Haul, Long FCOM... a perfect match  Time to get reading!

Do homework. I have such a short attention span that I use FSX to force me to study and do homework. If I don't do it while I'm in cruise, I simply don't.

Listen to music or simulate "crew rest". Lots of beer too - plenty of time to sober for the approach.
