November 12, 201213 yr I have no self control. Just bought the darned thing... :-D. Just had one flight yet. It handles just nice. No excessive roll, probably thanks to the push-pull props(?). I'll take it for another spin later today, but the gym beckons. Skickat från min GT-I9300 via Tapatalk 2 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
November 12, 201213 yr Yes, having flown many flights in the Portuguese Airforce (FAP) FTB, from Sintra Airbase on wednesdays mail hub, connecting LPST, LPBJ, LPTN, LPPT and back LPST, most times without ever shutting down the engines, I certainly missed a good approach of the real thing. This one certainly is :-) I'm glad :-))) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 13, 201213 yr Is the built in gps good for anything? I fail to get it to work at all? Granted, I have had little time to play with it... Skickat från min GT-I9300 via Tapatalk 2 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
November 13, 201213 yr Richard, the default GNS430 is very poor compared to what we get by default in MSFS, but, there are options... On another thread I posted a while ago there were some interesting freeware suggestions: - http://eadt.eu/index.php?kln90b - http://ross-park.net/xgps/ and there is the expensive but very good and extremely easy to integrate GNS430/530 by http://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/gns530-xpl/index.html Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 13, 201213 yr The documentation includes many pages from the actual aircraft pilot's operating handbook. Hook I had mine tubo charged climbs 3000ft/min. The mod is in the avsim forums somewhere You can find more performance charts and details here. The review was written for FSX but I would expect the performance and looks to be very similar in X-Plane. http://www.avsim.com/pages/1111/Carenado/337.html Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

November 13, 201213 yr Are you talknig about mods for the FSX or X-Plane versions? Both are sold by Carenado, and I'm confused... :-/ Hi, fsx turbo mod for free but I cant remember where I found it, pretty sure it was here at avsim. I bought the plane from carenado. I sent you a pm ZORAN

November 14, 201213 yr Author Carenado has released an update available at their site. Think this is just an FSX update. X-Plane must not have "Bouncing" 337's.
November 14, 201213 yr Think this is just an FSX update. X-Plane must not have "Bouncing" 337's. Actually neither. It's an FS9 issue. Scott

This is from Carenado site,If you bought from there log in to your account. November 13th, 2012 YOU DONT NEED THIS SERVICE PACK IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE AIRCRAFT AFTER NOVEMBER 13th, 2012 AT 1900 GMT Change log for v1.1 of Carenado’s C337 Skymaster for X-Plane 9 and X-Plane 10 -Fixed hand brake (on left wall, just in front of Avionics switch). -Fixed fuel switches; front switch in "Off" position now correctly only starves the front engine (no longer starves both engines), and rear switch in "Off" position now starves rear engine. -Tweaked sound coming from outside when copilot door is open. -Cowl flap switches and status lights now work like the real plane. Switches no longer auto-re-center. When cowl flap reach full extended or full retracted positions, status light comes on, but turns off when switch is placed in centre position again. -Heading bug has been tweaked to be more precise. -Elevator Trim now indicates correctly in v10. Does not go out of bounds at full trim deflection. -Improved ground handling. This package contains the whole aircraft. We recommend deleting the original folder and replacing it by this one 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
