B200- SP2 is out

Featured Replies

Your the best Bob! Thanks for making a good product superb. And Thanks go to Carendao for the service packs.

Two quick questions -

1) does SP2 include SP1 or do you need to install each?

2) if you buy it today, will the model you buy include both SP's?

Thanks

Good questions.... I bought and downloaded directly from carenado.com on 12/26/12 and after looking thru various files I'd have to say I had V1.0 without any service packs. Installer I downloaded has a date of 11/8/12. Update off their site is listed as SP2 and has a date of 11/20/12.

I'll assume SP2 includes SP1 but who knows. Maybe their Christmas party was a little too festive.

Thanks for these tweaks and all. I am usually a hard-core FS9 user but bought this to have a decent King Air in FSX and I like it okay but it really pales in comparison to the systems of the Aeroworx B200. As it's my first Carenado product, I'm still liking it okay. I look forward to trying these tweaks to improve the product over all. My main complaint so far is with the Engine Auto Start switches coming on with the Start Switches.

I think the DC Volt / loadmeters is a good improvement but (always a but) it seems that voltage only works when generators are online (28VDC)

If you want to check battery voltage prior engine start it does not work.

Was wondering if anyone came up with a solution for checking battery voltage yet? All of the other fixes work great.

Anyone have the GPU mod that flying_bob made?  I sent him a PM many weeks ago and haven't heard back.

  • 1 month later...

Yeah I'll take the GPU mod as well... Have you heard from him?

Isn't that mod available in the library? I haven't checked on my mobile but I would guess it is.

/ sent from a mobile thingy /

1) the GPU is not part of the tweaks and have not been included.

if you want that, send me a PM with your email address and i will send you the adjusted GPU i use with instructions how to add.

As the GPU is not mine I cannot upload that. I cant get hold of the original developer, so I am a bit reluctant to upload that for absolute free distribution. I am of the opinion if i send the adjusted file to B200 owners there should not be a problem. I hope..!

2) I have no performance hit at all. these tweaks are so insignificant it cannot have a Perf impact.

Will you give me the GPU if I were to ask?

havent been on Avsim for months. Sorry bout that.

AGAIN please note:

I tracked original developer down. I now have permission from the original developer to share but not to upload to any FSX download site and I dont want to get into politics for his reasons, so lets just leave that be. here is file as I received it from him a long time ago.

Thanks making this available flying_bob.  Before you provided this file I was able to make it work, however, without the switch...now all is great!
