December 9, 201213 yr NyxxUK/David Thanks for taking the trouble to post some more shots. 747-fan Strangely, despite seeing issues elsewhere, I do not see any issues at Algiers - my shot looks a little different assuming due to GEX africa but no blue/cyan buildings or texture anomalies at all....wierd!!! Regards Steve
December 10, 201213 yr You cannot fly outside of UK with the scenery enabled. It's ridiculous. Don't remember the good old days of VOZ and FS9?
December 10, 201213 yr i cannot see the pictures due to office rules, but i had corrupt textures problem while i was using ftx na. the problem was, dark textures were everywhere like a petroleum attack. and my problem has been solved by changing my windows regional settings to USA, instead of Turkey. Maybe this will be helpful to you as well. Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
December 10, 201213 yr Paul over at the FTX site has now posted a fix for the blue/cyan buildings!! He also advises they are working on a fix for the other texture issues! Regards Steve Sent from my BlackBerry 8520 using Tapatalk
December 10, 201213 yr I fly all over Europe in the NGX and have FTX ENG, GEX Europe and UTX Europe and have no problems.
December 10, 201213 yr Well that was entertaining  Starts off with someone having a problem, followed by another, then some without... Then the preacher arrives to tell everyone its there system... .. cheers then :good: Then, the DEVELOPER themselfs, of the scenery that, going by the preacher doesnt have any problems, post's a fix for scenery that apparently doesnt have any problems lol.. ''i aint got da probs, cuz i int got da scenery'' Regards Luke M
December 10, 201213 yr Well, I hope someone likes your sarcasm, because I don't. The point is, when someone comes with a problem, to root out if there is a problem really or is it a single machine. Where is this fix, would you be so kind to post a link? Come on now Srdan, no need to take it to heart. It wasnt aimed at anyone inpaticular,(and certainly not your very respected helpfull self!) I read the posts and found it funny, thats all. As for the fix link, i cant supply that. I was refering to post 38. Yeh piont taken, keep me nose out where its not required.. Regards Luke M
December 10, 201213 yr C,mon guys Anyone using this without problems. Just post basic terrain, mesh, and land class specs, to give us a clue. Paul EGLD
December 10, 201213 yr It's a two way door gents, just because you don't have the issue, doesn't mean all others won't, just as much as just because you do have the issue others will. I have this issue as well, and have been participating in a separate texture related thread over on the Orbx forums, which you can find here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/51108-blurry-gexutx-outside-of-england/ As you can see, it is an issue, and it is not system specific, all of us on that thread have vastly different hardware, software, and system setups. Either way, as stated, they are working on a fix for all of us with these issues. Regards,Kyle
December 10, 201213 yr Same here, no issues at all. I fly all over and leave EU enabled and see no issues. This is as other addons will be in the future, system specific. I have had issues other don,t and have had none when other do....much like CoolSkys DC-9. I don't ever go below 25 FPS in KSEA with Very Dense scenery, others simple can't run it without triangles even over the middle of Africa. William Sequeira

Where is this fix, would you be so kind to post a link? Srdan Link as requested - post #36 in this thread: http://www.orbxsyste...t-of-the-world/ Its a small fix for some users (me included) that had blue/cyan striped textured buidlings in non FTX areas (in this case Kigali, HRYR, Rwanda) see screen shot below- The fix provides a replacement .dds file in ORBX\Scripts\Custom.eu folder that when overwriting the original, removes the stripy buildings issue. I'm not saying that everyone does have, or should have this issue, but surely the fact that the developer provides a replacement of one of their own files to solve a problem, and then to quote the developer...... "Still working on the other errors" (which relates to the strange textures on the hills/mountains appearing above).............might just suggest an acknowledgment of a reproducable issue direct from the developer.
