December 29, 201213 yr The T7 holds the world record for longest flight. The flight lasted nearly 12,000 miles and the aircraft flew from Hong Kong to London (east side) around the world in only one stop for fuel. That is why it is called the Worldliner. When the T7 came out with the GE-90115B1L engines, it was the largest engines in the world with a 14 foot diameter intake fan and producing over 110,000 horse power. The GE test bed 747-200 flew 70 percent of the test run on only one GE90-115B1L. The other PW standard 747 engines were stopped. The 777 is the twin engine aircraft to be licensed as an ETOPS certified aircraft. When a 777-300 is ramped to maximum seating arrangement (which would be very uncomfortable), it can hold more passengers than even a 747! These are a few of many I know! ^_^
