December 18, 201213 yr Author The scary part is that Ro reacted to you as if it were and totally understandable. :Cuppa: I've walked through Pier D enough times to know it is unfortunately. Course it's always the 10% that give the 90% the bad name, but still, any other airline and you'd be fired for behaviour like that, but not Ryanair, if you have the nerve to talk to passengers like that, then you'll damn well be able to impose any punative charge on them you like... Rónán O Cadhain.
December 19, 201213 yr As for a non airline investor, some of the pilots have an idea up our sleeves for that... Mmmm …. I remember a child asking Richard Branson once “ how do you become a Millionaire” he replied “Start off as a Billionaire and buy an airline” Delta looks hungry for Heathrow slots at the moment. I know they haven’t been mentioned before but they might be an outside bet. Stephen Asus Z170 Deluxe, 32 GB DDR4 Dominator Platinum, i7 6700k mild overclock, GTX Titan ( Pascal ) Win10
December 19, 201213 yr Congrats Ro, Great to hear about this good news from you. As for a potential buyer, it is only 25.1% share and you guys are the third largest holder of Heathrow slots so I would imagine that would appeal to Emirates or United/Continental at this point. I would prefer to see a non airline investor buy it so that their is less internal politics for you guys. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Think closer to home and already owns a portion of us. They make great managers of airlines... B)  Of course re-nationalisation would be a very nice option, but unfortunately that's probably never going to happen. Either way, it's good to once and for all have FR off our backs, as AFAIK, they're no longer allowed bid for us ever again, due to some rule about only being able to do it three times or something like that. Regard, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
December 19, 201213 yr Well whatever happens I pray it provides you with a job for a very long time. Even if its flying those silly Airbusses!!! Randy Swofford

February 27, 201313 yr All we need now is for someone to take over the Irish Government! Rónán, I have had dozens of business plans over the years landing on my desk for the creation of new airlines or extending their business. Providing your airline's funding requirement is no less than €200Million, I would accept it, in principle, subject to the appropriate documentation. PM me if your BOD is serious. Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
February 27, 201313 yr MORE CHAMPAGNE!!! Hi Capt Ró I bet this is even better news than that champagne moment for you way back in December.Just heard the news on RTE. Very happy for you and your colleagues. Rick Almeida
February 27, 201313 yr They should watch that cash balance - should the case against Apple, by shareholders, set a precedent the airline will have its shareholders seeking greater returns!
