Accufeel2 Release Date?

OK, just to perhaps help answer some questions.

Accufeel is an observer, as opposed to looking up a value, like a weather variable. In other words, it doesn't say "oh, this value says we have medium turbulence so make it so." Rather, it looks at behaviors and makes its own determination how much turbulence there is, then works in the little finer gusts and chops. So it's a wind enhancer, and not a replacement. However, what you see in the video is stock FSX with Accu-Feel wind. But we'll let the customers decide what they like or don'y like, even within Accu-Feel. This is why we put that global slider in there to allow it to be easily tuned to each person's liking.

Scott.

I applaud A2A's commitment to improving FSX. With all of these excellent third party enhancements, FSX might be improving faster than if the Microsoft Aces team were still working on it.

+1. Totally agree with computerflyer.

Best regards,

Jim

A2A. Let's see, they make Accufeel, Shockwave lights (which are in almost every airplane I fly), oh yes, one or two airplanes of note (wink--they're all as good as my Cub I'm betting). In other words great stuff indeed. Another outstanding product to add to their line. I'll be the first kid on my block to own Accufeel 2.

Thanks for the info Scott. So if, for example we used FsWxLite (a super little free weather engine) the Accusim program would still work?

All we need next is for you to include a slider to adjust "ground effect"...here's dreaming :)

Looking forward to the release!

And I wonder what we all would do with our free time if FSX had everything from the beginning? What if dynamics, scenery, planes, airports where all done perfectly from the start.....what a boring world it would have been.

Then there would be no cruising forums for tweaks, addons, chit chat.

Maybe we would have lost interest if it was not for all of the work that gets done with brilliant addons like these.

Just say'n

Compatibility with Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D (P3D) would be beneficial since this is the only ongoing improvement for the old FSX base program.

Good point lol. Imagine no hardware tweaking, just sit down and fly. But somehow I think we'll always be pushing the envelope...

And for those concerned you can disable it for individual planes if it has some odd affect on them. But it is really good, wont fly without it, makes the FSX world more believable.
