Anybody have experience with Aerosoft Venice?

Featured Replies

I've always liked flying around Venice. Is the Aerosoft Venice scenery worth getting? Or is it more or less the same as the default FSX scenery?

Any other Venice sceneries out there that anyone would recommend for FSX?

Vic

IMO ... Save ur money and spend it on an airport addon, you'l get more pleasure/use for ur buck!

Very old scenery (adapted from FS2004) and not worth the money, regarding nowadays technique for FSX.

It may not be up to date, but - not knowing the default Venice scenery, though - it is not that bad. I like it, and you'll get two airports/airfields with it, too (LIPZ Venice Marco Polo and San Nicolo if I remember correctly).

Of course it seems at bit overpriced compared to other, more recent sceneries.

Hello

I like it and use it quite often, decent short flight down from Aerosoft LOWI

Here is my CitationX on a very foggy day at LIPZ

Image removed. Exceeds 1600W and 400KB limits.

A reissue of the original product from Largo. No longer in business it seems.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I own it but have not reinstalled it yet as I rarely fly in Europe. I was once stationed in Vicenza and made almost weekly trips to Venice and I think the product replicates the scenery very well.

Hello

Fully remade for FSX by Andreas kosmas, nothing to do with LAGO

From the Aerosoft site: "Full FSX development (not based on FS2004 code) using bumpmaps and extensive reflective texture guaranteeing best performance."

Very nice scenery in my opinion

I like Venice city addon very much.. ITs got not only the city...its got the Airport as well...with custom runway textures an all.... So worth it! And it also has a grass strip airport too.

Here it is

What is it that someone don't like about it? I understand some folks may have different opinion on this..but other times I just don't get people who shoot of stuff and can't back it up. Its annoying and almost misleading others.
