January 10, 201313 yr When PMDG announced the DC 6 project, I knew already that it would be a huge 'success' for both costumers and the developer, business and aesthetically. I know there are a lot of us who bought and will buy anything made by PMDG but DC 6 is just the right sweetspot. I also love how PMDG expressed their appreciation to A2A's line of business when asked if DC 6 to compete with A2A's vintage aircraft. I, perhaps thousands other, would love to see DC3. The existing choices are far from anything special..while DC3 is always be special in the heart of every simmer. Respectfully
January 18, 201313 yr There already is a very good DC-3 available. Rather than another one I'd like a PMDG C-46 Commando. Watching Ice Pilots on Discovery, it looks like a very interesting aircraft apparently with some difficult handling characterstics.

January 19, 201313 yr I like the UIVER-Team DC-2. It's quite close to a DC-3 and its a really decent addon!
January 19, 201313 yr Capt Robert mentioned today that a DC-3 is a possibility...just. This was noted on his interview mentioned here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/397414-robert-randazzo-about-to-join-us-on-voice-chat-all-welcome/ Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
January 19, 201313 yr Who makes the good DC-3? MAAM-SIM. It's getting on a bit but then so is the DC-3.
January 21, 201313 yr I didnt know this thread is still active since the last time I checked all the answers were flushed as AVSIM had a problem sometime on last week. If PMDG's DC 3 is almost certain and A2A keeps on releasing vintage warbirds, then who will make VC10 or and Trident??? .
January 21, 201313 yr I'm more than slightly hoping for the DC-3 :lol: Lee Barber - Rochester, NY PPL-G
January 21, 201313 yr Wait, what? The DC6 isn't even done yet and people are asking for a DC3? At the rate things move in this business, your DC3 will be ready in 2019.
January 24, 201313 yr Well ... is it really true that an overwhelming percentage of PMDG customers - besides the enthusiasts posting here - is so much into vintage aircraft as it is claimed here? I, for my part, would rather see PMDG's development efforts focused on contemporary aircraft. Business jets and regional airliners come to my mind. Dave P. Woycek
January 24, 201313 yr Well ... is it really true that an overwhelming percentage of PMDG customers - besides the enthusiasts posting here - is so much into vintage aircraft as it is claimed here? Of course not, but you don't need an overwhelming percentage for it to be successful. Besides, lots of vintage aircraft enthusiasts don't post in PMDG forums. I'm not interested in jets, but I'd buy a PMDG DC-3 in a heartbeat. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
January 24, 201313 yr Don't hold your breath guy who knows when the DC will be out because PMDG have a different idea of what "very Soon" means than it does to me. From the 5th Feb 2012 We are looking forward to seeing you guys get a chance to do some "old school" flying in our DC-6B very soon David Murden.
