March 6, 201313 yr Anyone out there still has the Aloha Airlines WOAI package? I had it but must have deleted it by mistake. I thought I had downloaded all of them but I can't find it! I think AQ was Aloha's code - have you any idea what the file name is likely to be? Bill
March 6, 201313 yr Anyone out there still has the Aloha Airlines WOAI package? I had it but must have deleted it by mistake. Like Bill, I took a quick look and it appears my file organization failed me. Either I don't have it or I couldn't find it with my searches. Ok, I hate to do this but here it goes.. Sorry Dillon, but I wanted to beat Jim at this.... RJ
March 6, 201313 yr Yeah - noticed they were missing as well - I just downloaded the flight plan and planes and built my own with AIFP... About an hours work - AIFP makes it easy... Regards, Scott

March 7, 201313 yr Between the set of plans by EVAI: evai_winter_2007-2008_alohaairlines.zip and using repaints found here at avsim you can have it all setup in under 30 mins. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
March 7, 201313 yr Author I had the WOAI Aloha package years ago but deleted it when they went under. It's funny now I'd like to see them back in the sim. It's amazing no one else has it. When I have time I'm going to start getting into installing AI the Traffic tools way. Any help you guys can give on Aloha packages from Project AI and the proper way to install the package via Traffic Tools would be great. March 7, 201313 yr Hi Dillion, Just start here - it's the tool I believe the WOAI folks used to make their projects... Don did a superb job on this and he is constantly updating it... He now has a tool where you can take any aircraft you have loaded - and - it will place it as a static model in any designated parking spot on your AFCAD - pretty slick... Cuts down on traffic congestion at the busiest airports while still filling a portion if your parking spots with static aircraft... http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/aifp.php Regards, Scott

Many of us are going to have to get creative in setting up AI when the AA/US Airways merger goes through (if we want our AI environment to look somewhat current with the times). I'll look at this and see what I can do. Aloha is just for nostalgia as I really liked their livery before they went under... March 7, 201313 yr Hi Dillon, Same boat - I have all three FSDT Hawaiian airport packages - and - it just doesn't feel like Hawaii without Aloha cruising the skies... Make sure you find the AI Aloha Funbird paint - that bright orange and yellow paint scheme is the star of the show... There's also a small commuter outfit in Hawaii that I downloaded some planes and flight plans for - I forget the name but they fly all Dash8's - just haven't got around to installing them yet... It looks like they inhabit the area adjacent to the old Aloha spots... New American ? - ROFL - not on my computer - NEVER !!! I'll still be flying bare metal American for years to come... Regards, Scott
March 7, 201313 yr WOAI does not list Aloha packages either in "current" or obsolete airlines. MRAI has some and also others. Using TTools you can as stated earlier take these plans and after installing AI models as needed and an airport.txt file if not included you can create a suitable traffic.bgl. Search FS9 AI Traffic Plans here for Aloha. You''l get cargo and some pax circa 2005 to 2007.
March 8, 201313 yr There's also a small commuter outfit in Hawaii that I downloaded some planes and flight plans for - I forget the name but they fly all Dash8's - just haven't got around to installing them yet... It looks like they inhabit the area adjacent to the old Aloha spots... Island Air? You can find their Winter 2012/13 flightplan at http://unitedtrafficteam.com/. By the way, I still have Champion Air (2006), Planet Airways (2005) and NACs DC-6 (2007) flying as AI traffic... And I regularly use to preserve worthy planes as "stored" ones, giving it an invented parking code, defining an assigned parking ramp at an appropriate airport and creating a flightplan with two airport patterns a week at midnight. Perhaps this is an alternative for preserving your most beloved paint schemes or planes, in my case mostly the now fast declining soviet models with interesting "Babyflot" liveries. March 9, 201313 yr I know there are many simmers who are "purists" and want everything to be as "real world" as possible, but I am of the mind that it's MY world I am creating in the sim and I can have it look the way I enjoy seeing it. So Aloha has continued to fly the Hawaiin skies and will do so for a long time to come. If we could only fix things so easily in the real world! A few mouse clicks and thingscan be the way they should be instead of just the way they are!!! ^_^
March 9, 201313 yr So Aloha has continued to fly the Hawaiin skies and will do so for a long time to come. . . . but can you supply the information for the OP?
March 10, 201313 yr I don't have the WofAI package. What I have was created from repaints I found on here. But I'm happy to share with anyone what I have - send me a PM with your email address
