April 18, 201313 yr Commercial Member Great. Linux is quite similar to Mac apart the path conversion needed for Mac. So you even have a woman working on that....hey cool. (I could help her, she could simply ask me)
April 18, 201313 yr FYI, it's now officially available for purchase: http://www.classicjetsims.com/WorldTraffic/ Mac and Windows only for now.

April 18, 201313 yr So... Anyone tried it yet? Is it any good? My hopes are way up, cause the world in xpx is getting more and more barren. Skickat från min Nexus 4 via Tapatalk 2 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12

April 19, 201313 yr Author It's awesome to say the least. This add-on has a lot of potential. I suggest downloading and trying it out, you'll be limited to 15 flight plans but you'll have an idea of how immersive this add-on will add to any existing airport. It's not limited to only air traffic, but ground, and sea traffic as well. Really spectacular and a definite must have plug-in for any serious X-Plane simmers period. April 19, 201313 yr I sent my $25 the moment I knew it had been released. "Shut up and take my money!" as Fry would say Once the next major version (probably months away) adds random air traffic, it will be the AI-controlled planes that X-Plane should have had from the start (i.e. not limited to 20, low impact on CPU and framerate). It even has its own air traffic control system. I can't speak to how well it works, but hopefully there'll be some way to tie it in to XP so you can interact with it the same way you do now with the built-in ATC. Maybe XP doesn't have a programming interface for that yet, if it doesn't they ought to add one.
April 19, 201313 yr So far, I cannot sit still long enough to finish reading the intro - Holding patterns, Overhead breaks, vertical takeoffs - Oh man, I'm drinking coffee to calm myself down. Do we know when a flight plan editor will be available? Keith Guillory
April 19, 201313 yr Do we know when a flight plan editor will be available? Only that it's "coming soon" from a different developer. Air only, apparently, my impression is that the tool won't edit ground routes for arrival and departures.
April 19, 201313 yr Interesting add-on for sure. It works very well and a welcome addition. Sat on the taxiway and watched folks land and takeoff. Couple of items that I am wondering about; 1. The menu system, once I hit CTRL-W how the heck are the options selected?? 2. Sitting watching the AI land and take off after about 10 minutes the show is over??? Since it is a flight plan then I suppose things are done since AI are parked or gone. I would assume then a future update would make AI random (i.e. FSX AI -- OMG I said it -- sorry) if so selected. I did finally reload XPX and took off from KSEA and met up with a 4 ship formation of military jets on my nose!!! Audio is pretty good also. Looks like its going to lots of fun after a few enhancements. I will keep my eye on it and more than likely purchase. Developer says random flights are planned for future major update. My opinion on that is, don't expect it for a couple months at least. If it comes sooner, then it'll be a pleasant surprise. Also: set your X-Plane clock to 16:54 zulu. At 16:55 (IIRC, I'm not at my XPlane machine now) the two F-14s on the tarmac will begin starting engines. Lock view on them as they go on a quick tour around Mt. Rainier.
April 19, 201313 yr Thanks starflight, Selection works, I guess I missed all of that somewhere in the pdf file. One more question, I am at the default rwy at KSEA, World of Traffic is initializing, it gets done and all of a sudden this yellow NASCAR streaks by me just haulin boogie down the runway!!! Whats up with that?? No complaint, must be one of those, what did Microsoft call them, easter eggs or some such.. Anyway, thanks again for the keystrokes, Chuck Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF CPU @ 4.90GHz 32.0 GB RAM Windows 11 Home NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB Multi monitors WD SN850 M2 2TB PSU 1000W. 360 AIO.cooling.
April 19, 201313 yr Commercial Member I am a bit confuzzled with this app. Will this eventually work like the apps that are available in FSX like Ultimate Traffic? REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
