April 10, 201313 yr I presume it's for FS9. Should be available from Simmarket.com shortly. If you go to their Facebook page, there's the possibility to win a free one. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
April 11, 201313 yr Thanks for the heads-up Gavin. Been following progress on this one for some time. Purchased and downloaded/installed but won't be able to use it tonight unfortunately. Confirming it is for FS9 (FSX version to follow in a couple of months. Hope Oliver allows AES for this but not holding my breath.
April 11, 201313 yr I don't have any of their scenery yet, but the scenery they have made does look real nice! I will have to start getting some of their scenery!
April 11, 201313 yr Been waiting for this for some time now. Gonna purchase it tonight and test it on FS9. Excited about FSX version though! Thank you for the heads up.
April 11, 201313 yr Thanks for the info Gavin. I hope this will be AES supported, don't know whether if he redesign the jetway though. Maybe there will be future updates with the correct PAPI lights. April 11, 201313 yr Sneaked an opportunity... 5 minutes only. Very initial observations :- Autogen comes right to the airport boundaries. Lots of construction happening. Parts are a real mess - NOT the fault of the designer, in real life. Sprawling airport. Deliciously confusing. Looks good ... happy with purchase so far.
April 11, 201313 yr Flown there a couple of times in RW. A tad bit confusing at first but not nearly as messy as CDG
April 11, 201313 yr Author I'm happy with this purchase. A very 'atmospheric' scenery in my opinion. I'm not an AES user (is that allowed?) so not too bothered about that. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
April 12, 201313 yr Thanks for the heads-up! Must take a closer look. I'm not an AES user (is that allowed?) so not too bothered about that. LOL Gavin, I am pretty sure that is not allowed at all. You risk that all your runways will turn to grass. Or something. Sometimes AES is a bit of a curse... I hardly buy non-AESed add-on airports anymore. *sigh* we are spoiled, completely spoiled. I remember the days of Sublogic FS on the C-64.... and look where we are now! But I digress... :Smug: Regards, Jure

April 12, 201313 yr Oh my goodness Gavin. Next you will be confessing that you don't use a joystick and still fly using the keyboard! No AES - how could you??? LOL I will admit that I use AES wherever I can, but if an addon is one that I really want, I will still purchase it You do know that there are several quality addon airports that are AES supported and are totally free??? Maybe we can entice you to come over to the dark side...... Ian

Maybe we can entice you to come over to the dark side...... Ian Hi Ian Sure I know a few airports are free. It's not a money thing - I really don't object to paying for quality products. To be honest, I just don't really feel any interest in it. I tired it once and just found it fiddly - probably more my error than the product. Mind you, I was once an avid non-VC and FSX person and now I just love flying the NGX in FSX. I'm a 50/50 FS9/FSXer these days. Yesterday flew ULLI to EDDH in the PMDG B738 NGX and today OMDB to the new VABB in the iFly B738 NG. All good fun :-) Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

Still have not figured out where all this sim vs sim stuff comes from. Well said Gavin, it should be exactly that "all good fun". Regards, Joe Esposito
April 12, 201313 yr Anyone know if they are planning to do an FSX version as I love flying in/out here to OMDB just like Gavin? Rick Almeida
April 12, 201313 yr Author Anyone know if they are planning to do an FSX version as I love flying in/out here to OMDB just like Gavin? Rick Yes an FSX version is planned according to the developer. He said 'approx a couple of months.' To me, this statement sums up where we all should be...fly whatever from wherever to wherever in whatever sim brings you the most enjoyment. Still have not figured out where all this sim vs sim stuff comes from. Well said Gavin, it should be exactly that "all good fun". Joe Thanks mate, good of you to say so :-) Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
