Majestic dash 8 Q400 for P3D ?

Featured Replies

Yeah it's all about the personal pc's and how they will react.

Personally I only use Prepar3d now, no stutters and no ctd.

Knock on wood lol

I decided to bite the bullet and buy this plane and all I can say is WOW.

I've got it working in P3D just fine.... but, in my case, if I run P3D in Legacy Mode (as administrator, of course) the Q400 bucks up and down initially, and when I exit P3D, the sim crashes. If I run P3D through SimLauncher (Estonia virtual FSX is disabled) and create a new flight, it runs just fine. Go figure.

did someone managed to solve the CTD on exit ? I've installed the plane into P3D using the migration tool.  I experience a systematic CTD on exit or changing to an other plane.

Kind Regards

has any one updated to the latest vers 1.007 (using the migration tool ) without the bouncing ,I installed V1.007  but the aircraft became a bucking bronco ,it was even bouncing  going down the runway on takeoff ,I uninstalled ver1.007 and reinstalled ver 1.006 which is great, Does any one have any ideas  why it bounce,s when using  the newer ver,s,the amazing thing was that as it bounced during taking off the tire,s screeched when the plane came down and hit the runway ,might have been something to do with Acu feel ,but sounded good

Weird, .007 fixed that issue for me, mind you, I just installed straight in to P3d

Without the Migration Tool?

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

Well I'm not sure actually.

I uninstalled fsx but the migration tool may still be on because all my installers point to p3d...so never mind lol

Hi!

I have installed the "mjc8-400-Pilot-1_007-inst.exe" on release date (via migration tool) and regarding the ctd's on application quit it is still the same.

Doesn't bother me at all, because the simulation is actually running very stable.

I am used to save flights at critical points. E.g. after pre flight/before push back...

When I want to start the sim as I left it, I have to save the situation (without fsuipc auto save).

Than a ctd on exit is not really a problem.

Regarding the new V1.007-question of bouncing, I can also only say: no problem here.

The (innovative) nose wheel steering via the joystick x-axis while on ground was quite unusual for me in the beginning. It made me sometimes "bounce" between runway border lines. But that is a pilot's ability thing :-)

Diggin up an old thread. Has the Q400 installer been released for p3dv2 yet? How is the stability in V2.1?

P3D version has not been released yet. The current version, however, works just fine in v2.1.  It also works just fine in v2.2!  In fact, the plane is absolutely stunning in v2.2. B)
