Milviz 737-200 Pre-Order

Featured Replies

I was only wondering whether it would have VNAV and LNAV implemented, i don't really know about the retrofitted FMS on the 732s. Anyway i preordered and i will know soon enough :)

As far as I understand the Sperry SP-177 has LNAV capability, not sure if its fully capable of VNAV ( like an NGs system) but I could be wrong.

Canadian North had PDCS Equipped 200's and GPS.....Heres a link for some basic PCDS/FMC Info.

Ours doesn't have the PDCS.

The FMS that we put in is the Universal LW1.

Not sure about the LNAV in the Sperry 177 but you'll find out soon enough...

I am really looking forward to this one and am sure that it will be a joy to fly no matter what the FMS can do or not do. There is always good old VOR/NDB flying for the old school steam gauge crowd.

Lots of flights around B.C. that will fit in nicely for this old bird.

I'm totally embarrassed. I was under the assumption that we would get the product in its current state, THEN get the full product when it was ready just before release!

Oh well, I still saved some $$$

You sir, are excessively, extremely, overwhelmingly blessed.

Haha. Well it was the least she could do, I just bought her a ton of stuff so she returned the favor!

I left an inquiry on your site but no response.  The product listing states FSX Acceleration Pack requirement.  Is this release fully compatible under FSX Deluxe SP2?

There is absolutely nothing in this package that requires the Acceleration Pack.

Are there any rough estimates on the release date? I'm definitely tempted with the pre-order but I have no idea when it will be released, because you guys have so many projects in development.

By the way is there any chance that you guys will change the VC color palette to a more grey-ish and less blue-ish tone, with 'duller' colors on the gauges? The VC looks 'unnatural' compared to the competition, it reminds me of the Benoit Gaurant and the Simcheck A300. perhaps you can create an option where we can manually switch the different textures.

While Bill's statement is true, we will not be providing support for SP2.

We will not be changing the colors. If you don't like them, you may change them yourself using the supplied paint kit.  (we will include the VC PSD's)

Release date is... when it's done.  And the pre-order sale is over as of now...

Thanks for your purchases...

That will be great, thanks.

I know these are very different but how will this compare to PMDG NGX?

  • Commercial Member

It's got a different company name, it's not an NGX, it's not glass, it's got different wings, it's got a cargo door, the manual is 300 pages and not 40000000.... and it's not the same plane.  (just to be clear... THIS IS A JOKE!)

Seriously.  We cannot and will not compare our stuff with other devs products.  They don't do it and we won't either.

Sorry but...

Thanks for the answer. But Jezzzz never ceases to amaze me how 3PD's talk down to their potential customer. I spend half my time kissing potential customers butt's!

If the offer was still open I wouldn't buy it and after that response I doubt if I will by it when its available. FYI I was asking the community!

If you can't take a joke, then... what can I say?

I was not talking down to you.  I was, however, being sarcastic.  And there's a reason for that.  How can we answer that? By saying what exactly?  That ours will be better than PMDG's?  Hardly.  That ours will be worse than PMDG's?  Again, hardly.

The question you're asking should be asked after the product is released and, at that point, you could buy it on your own and find out and, if you hate it, then return it without any questions being asked. (if you buy it from our site).  And seeing as it's not released yet, how exactly would the community know anything other than what we tell them?  So, given the way you asked your question and the status of the product, I can safely assume that you are, indeed, asking me about the quantitative differences between our and someone else's product... They are the same "name" but not at all the same plane and would therefore be, not at all comparable except perhaps in terms of systems depth.  To which I will say, they are comparable but not the same...

If you don't want to buy our products, that's your call and your loss.
