Not quite for iOS yet. Android version is on beta and has been put up in the droid market for USD 20.

Waiting to try this on my iPad when they release it. Thanks for the heads up.

This works like a charm!  Install was a breeze and is working seamlessly with NGX.  The best part for me is THIS WORKS IN FULL SCREEN !!

First one that does.

Enjoy

Just bought it and testing as I type!

Pity it needs iOS 6 to work.

I've just this minute installed and tested it, albeit briefly. Wow! It's brilliant! Fullscreen with no lag and costing less than an airport addon!

I downloaded the app along with the app that installs on the PC to provide the connection.

I can't get the CDU to connect.

Bill not sure on this but you need wifi on your motherboard to use this Howard would no better.

Thanks guys, I figured out my problem..............I didn't configure my static IP address of my FSX PC in the IPad Settings Section.

Once I did that, it works great!

What I love about this app is that it permits me to run FSX in full screen.

You have to be connected to the same network, but the way you are connect to it - wireless or cable - doesn't matter. That being said, I'm not able to get the app to connect to the VIA interface no matter what I do. Adding to that, when I had installed the VIA interface and started up FS9 again, anti-aliasing was totally gone in the sim and I can't get it back either through updating to latest NVIDIA driver or confirming the settings in nvidia inspector LOL It's just a weird coincidence I am sure, but anyway I am re-installing all 230 GB worth of windows 7 and simulator software again! :D

Glad you got it working Bill. I had exactly the same problem due to over eagerness! Once I went into the settings on the Ipad, I could see that the displayed IP address was different to the one displayed on the PC.

This program is AMAZING.

There is no lag at all, and it displays and inputs what is on your NGX CDU.

It is a substitute for the $1000 > CDU in the market which I cannot really fathom; if this can be accomplished for $20, does manufacturing the hardware cost $980? Perhaps someone can hack together a hardware CDU with parts from opencockpit, an android system and this beautiful software.

I've e-mailed the author several suggestions --

1. Implement STEP mode in the CDU when the EFIS is in plan mode (it
does not display at the moment)
2. Disable iOS autodim, autolock when in use
3. Touchfire-like keyboard for the CDU! http://www.touchfire.com/
