FBI Releases Pictures of Two Suspects in Boston Bombing

Featured Replies

Here is the picture of the guy in the white hat running away from the blast, better than what you see in the FBI's material.

and here is a cropped in version, he's sure without a backpack! I think it's a matter of time until they catch them.

This may be an aviation / flight simulator site, but any and all exposure of these images is beyond question justified.  Personally, when events like this happen I soon find myself tuning out the mainstream press, who become obsessed with being the first with the latest scoop.  Often see and hear them asking questions of the authorities that if answered would provide more insight to the perpetrators and future perpetrators than to the public.  i.e. how to do it better next time!!  But to post images of the suspects here and everywhere?  Who knows where someone might see a face or clothing or walking traits that ring a bell?  Put those images everywhere that could possibly happen.  And then it will !!!

And then this surfaced today.

So many sick-o's.

Good Lord.

While the event in Boston is tragic, this post has no connection to flight simulation and should be elsewhere on the Internet besides AVSIM.

Hi Pete,

There are 109 different areas to post on AVSIM that includes FSX, FS2004, Flight, Prepar3D, X-plane.....etc

The Hanger Chat is a place where like-minded people from this hobby hangout, and in many cases we do discuss things on here that are not always aviation related. I feel it is good for like-minded individuals to share daily events with each other as well. This forum is well moderated already by the good team here on AVSIM, so I choose to leave it to them.

All I can say is amazing.  How could they track down the suspects so quickly?  I hope they capture the second suspect alive so he can be interrogated--I suspect there's more than just these two brothers behind this.

John

When I heard the news as I was driving my car to work this morning, I was reminded of the scene at the end of Alien where Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) finally dispatches the monster that has killed the rest of the crew, and she says "I got you, you f******."

From what I've read, the killers came out of hiding and attacked the MIT Campus Police officer, armed with guns and more explosives.

I guess these guys never heard of surveillance cameras.  Now days they are setup everywhere and many times are the key that brings down criminals.  Plus anybody with a smart phone also has a pretty high resolution camera on their person all of the time.

I just hope they catch the other kid before he causes more trouble.  It is hard to discern the story since the media tends to get details wrong in their rush to get the news out.  It might take a few days before we have a clearer picture of who the suspects are and how they were caught.

They say that they might have come out because they were preparing to hit another target.  Probably didn't realize that they had already been identified.

They even called their father somewhere in Russia, and told him that everything was allright and that they were doing real good.
