May 8, 201313 yr Not Dubai, that's for sure. Take a look at the video, it's jaw dropping. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
May 8, 201313 yr Hmm, you could think about this a different way. Instead of 50 people spending a year building a tunnel for the poop then having to find another project to work on, all these hundreds of drivers have a full time job out of this and the state saves money on not having to build an expensive public works project. It's no less sanitary since the waste is stored in sealed vessels, and unless the amount of waste increases too much there's no reason for it to back up. If anything a pipe is probably harder to keep clear of obstructing debris, we spend a fortune in the UK clearing out sewer tunnels to keep the flow going! Just thinking outside the box  James Bennett

May 8, 201313 yr I remember the city of Toronto was driving all of its garbage to Michigan for over 12 years from 1998 to 2010 because they couldn't solve their garbage problems. 142 trucks a day were making that trip, hauling an estimated 10,000 tons of garbage daily. I see this being no different, just bad municipal planning. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
May 8, 201313 yr Author There's too many people. Therein lies the problem. @James Bennett. Good thinking. But how much does just one of those trucks cost to buy and to run? Not forgetting replacing them at some point? Another point to take into consideration is that in this country the sewers are cracking on a bit. Dubai would have installed modern 'non-stick' sewers. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
