June 19, 201312 yr Im a huge fan of your Q400(best addon I ever bought for FSX B) ), would you consider making the 100/200 series when finished with the Q400 pro/training versions?
June 19, 201312 yr Author I read somewhere that they maybe remake the 300 first. Ah thanks for the info, reason I want the 100/200 is because In Norway it's the most common Dash 8 used in short regional flights and most airports up here doesn't support anything bigger. Well well I can't have it all
June 20, 201312 yr No 200's in the Jazz fleet just 100/300 and now 400s You're right, i often fly with Air Canada Jazz and i've never seen a 200. Hope that i'll be able to fly on a 400 soon. Real Deraps
June 20, 201312 yr Yeah me too. Grande Prairie was one of the first destinations for it from YYC, can't wait. I love flying on the 100s and the 300s are fun too. I think the dash 8, the 100/300 anyway are the smoothest planes I've flown on. Coming into YEG and especially YYC with the Rockies it gets bumpy in everything but the Dash's. The last time I went to YYZ I got a 767 on the way back to YYC, I usually like the 767 but the turbulence was awful on that flight, waited for the dash 8 to be worse and it was super smooth. The Embraers are nice too most of the time.
June 20, 201312 yr Commercial Member The plan is to put the 300 back on the drawing board for an overhaul, and then determine whether/which variant of the 100/200 will be done. June 20, 201312 yr Author The plan is to put the 300 back on the drawing board for an overhaul, and then determine whether/which variant of the 100/200 will be done. I think there is a very good market for the 100/200 series, and so far you have that market all by yourself so I think it would be a wise decision to make it. I will get the 300 aswell as i'ts more common up here than the 400 and it opens up more possible regional routes B) But wathever you guys decide I'll buy anything you'll make  Thanks for giving us such a good product as the dash 8 q400.
June 21, 201312 yr I can't wait for the 100/200! Like @Kaboki said, they are used a lot in Norway by Wideroe on small airports, it's amazing to see them land and take off on these runways.
June 21, 201312 yr The 100/200 version look so short comparing the 400. IMHO the most beautiful one is the 300, the 100/200 look too short and 400 too long... Real Deraps
June 22, 201312 yr I like my planes like my ladies legs. Long and slim. The Q400 is the best looker from the bunch, for me. But I appreciate how 1/200 are very much workhorses. --Peter Fabian
June 22, 201312 yr I love the STOL capabilities of the 100/200. The 300 and q400 are great aircraft IMHO, but the challenging landings you can do with the 100/200 is whats making me want it really bad.
