August 7, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member Do the 777 wings actually flex that much IRL?.....they look almost rubber-y They do. Take a look at some of the head-on shots from spotters shooting on final. Also, this: Kyle Rodgers

August 7, 201312 yr Amazing. That wing is moving about as much as the Robot's arms from the old Lost in Space tv show. ("DANGER!!....DANGER!!") Ron Priever
August 7, 201312 yr The wing flex have been ready for quite a while I mean the T7, not the wing fiex.
August 7, 201312 yr I have some 777 wing shots from my recent vacation, but unfortunately I don't have the camera with me to post them. I do recall some pretty hefty flexing going on though. Chris Sunseri
August 7, 201312 yr Just a quick question regarding the wing flex. In some of the videos of I have from the BETA team it appears that the wing may independently flex. Is this the case? Its natural for the wings to generate different amounts of lift during a flight due to certain circumstances. Can anyone verify this??
August 7, 201312 yr Yep! I mean we all fly around constantly looking out the wings right? Peripheral vision anyone? The real question is would you buy it without the wing flex??!!!! Well of course I would (mainly because I wouldn't notice if it didn't). But then why wouldn't it have wing flex? It's not exactly a new technique. TBH I'm rather more interested in the new things this 777 has to offer.
