Perhaps having the real price will too soon will shy away potential buyers because of the price. Also, I believe a company such as PMDG is way more than adequate of uploading the product to the website in time. How much to do you really need C'mon now Haha - no, there's a reason it's up there. People stop blaming forum users for bringing this matter up, blame PMDG for STILL having this on their website, that is the real question why do they STILL have this on their website, its not funny and never was. Bottom-line PMDG could have avoided this and made the reason for having this, on the product page, much more clear. Instead of STILL talking, and attacking people about this matter, it could have turned into another useful discussion that maybe would help the development of this plane even further. People get off your high horses its not that big of a deal, there isn't to much to hate on PMDG about but, blame PMDG,not the newer people to this 777 discussion.That is the point I'm trying to make.

August 12, 201312 yr Wow, somebody has really missed the idea of a placeholder page! Making this page before release is just a sensible thing to do, and saves some work around release time - which for a PMDG product will be absolutely hectic. All they will now need to do is update the page code to include a link to the store (the link is probably already in the page code, just commented out). In addition to the placeholder page, RSR has made topics around some server upgrades in preparation for the 777 release - should he do that with a couple of days to go too? The release of the 777 is going to send both PMDG and AVSIM servers into meltdown (and Rob will be buying Tom many many beers/item of choice) so beefing up the servers well in advance makes perfect sense too. The page in question wasn't even linked from the home page, wasn't added to the product list etc. It was found in a relatively obscure manner after visiting other pages; I really, really, really can't understand the fuss. I really, really, really can't understand the fuss The fuss is about people overreacting to a simple question that was asked way back in the beginning. Quit being so ignorant and instead of talking about stupid dead horses explain to someone new to the 777 discussion why the product is listed as it is in the first place. Unfortunately by now if you don't get the point to stop attacking people because they do not know something that you do, you are a very small minded person. The people who blew this out of proportion were way before me so go back a page to the top and see what I'm talking about. Agreed. I would expect a beta tester to agree with me on the fact that you should EXPLAIN to people something that they do not know instead of shooting them down immediately. Stop shying away from the truth. I'll restate it one final time, the reason I got mad is because people shoot down someone because they do not know something here. That's it, I have no beef with PMDG, and have no reason to. I don't care how long it takes to upload a product to a website or how "hectic" a server will be, I don't care. Stop referring back to that topic because you cant cover up the fact some people here post ignorant comments to others when it is not necessary. That's the real problem but I can see some people just don't get it so why should I waste my time on this thread arguing to such disheartening people, you guys just scare others from bringing up other IMPORTANT topics here that could be useful so you are only hurting the entire flightsim community, your ignorance wont let you see it.
