August 20, 201312 yr http://aviationweather.gov/iffdp/ Kyle If you are using AS2012 why don't you just use the NAVLOG for a flight without step climbs or the Coded Route Weather for a flight with step climbs? Thanks Michael Cubine Michael Cubine

I do, but to keep it generic (I wasn't sure what he used), I left it at the source all of the weather programs probably use anyway. Kyle Rodgers

August 20, 201312 yr If you are really quick at hitting the pause button in the video, you might spot something  This is the first time I have heard of this. It sounds really cool. Is there an example in the video, please tell? Regards, Fly UK - Head of Operations Jordan McTiffin Jordan McTiffin

I'm not going to talk about it for my own reasons, but if you look carefully, you might spot something. That's all I'm going to say. August 20, 201312 yr Great Video Kyle very informative,I have a quick question on the engine startup sequence. I notice you switched the two fuel cut off switches to the on position, then you went to the overhead panel and started number 2 then 1. I always thought that you had to wait for the oil and fuel flow before you engage the fuel cut of switchs. Am I wrong? thanks
August 20, 201312 yr I decided it was my birthday also and elected to imbibe heavily at the same time as I watched your excellent video. Unfortunately, I fell asleep about 1/3 of the way through (your voice is curiously both seductive and soothing). Can someone please tell me me how it ended??? I heard that Skyler ends up killing Hank and Jesse ends up killing himself??? Ok, so why did Walter undo the outlet cover and get the fuse at the beginning of last week's episode? God, I hate being sober sometimes because it makes everything so confusing.

August 20, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member Happy birthday!!! Thanks Don! I thought I mentioned it in the video, but there is a difference between newer Boeings (744/75/76/77) and the older Boeings in that the new ones use AUTOSTART. When you use AUTOSTART, you flip the cutoffs prior to anything else start-related and the system manages all of it behind the scenes. If you were to turn AUTOSTART off, you would utilize the method you are familiar with. All planes aren't the same, even within the same series: C172P - prime, mixture lever in, throttle 0.5", turn key C172R - prime, mixture lever out, throttle 0.5", turn key, add mixture after engine catches Kyle Rodgers
