Great to hear about the liveries. And I am nearly certain that the 300ER will follow in an expansion pack (like the 737-6/700), and then the 200ER after that.

You got it (a bit) wrong. The statement was about 300ER not 200ER, and it stated that depending how things at various fronts would go, the 300ER might or might not make it to the basepack. But this is just as much a business decision as a technological one. If not more.

 

Now we have not seen any mention of 300ER in last months, and not a word since betatesting began, so I am saying it will not be in there. Which is a bit of a shame, but yeah.

The 200ER has a different set of engines, and in some aspects different systems than the LR. The 300ER is in essence a longer LR...

Now why would they have started with the 200ER when the 300ER is that much easier to make?

Saw the same post redarding the -200ER, not the -300ER. However, lets hope, that the -200ER will be modeled, otherwise there would be a really big gap... :Peace:

Yes this. I remember the post too and it was confirmed to be a typo by Ryan.

 Guys just to clarify here - we are doing a SMALL number of fictional liveries for the 200LR. These will be major carriers like American, United, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Air France, etc. We are NOT going to do a bunch of liveries from airlinesthat don't fly any variant of the 777 or for airlines that fly a small number of airplanes. We will not be doing fictional 777Fs. The LH Cargo one is being done because they have orders and are receiving their first one in October. 

 

There is a paint kit coming with the airplane that will allow to the community to make all the additional fictional liveries they want.

From what I've read Turkish actually leased some of Air India's -200LR's to start new service from Europe to Australia (Could be slightly wrong so dont hang me) ... Dont know when they go in service or if Air India canceled the deal since then.

They are planning to originally do IST-SIN-SYD on the 77W, and eventually move to a direct service once they obtain a 77L.

 

...and don't get me started on Air India. They have been planning a service to SYD/MEL for god knows how long (even putting flight details in the GDS reservation system), and then never end up operating the flights. Drives us crazy!
