August 21, 201312 yr I tried the Microsoft ATP checkride. I failed because I crossed the OLM VOR at 28,004 feet instead of EXACTLY 28,000. That is right... four feet above the altitude I was supposed to be at. I still recall that voice 'since that's not going to well, I'm afraid we are going to end this lesson' or something like that. :blush: In the end, if you pump up the volume of that Top Gun soundtrack high enough, you don't even hear it.
