The ones that grab it, as soon as it comes out usually find they have a corrupt download, due to the amount of traffic.

 

 

Doubt it'll be the case now, to be honest. Since the NGX, servers blah blah technical stuff  at PMDG have changed to help with all of it, so, that shouldn't happen now...

I just find it hilarious that people need to have this thing IMEEDIATELEEEEZ!! Like 1 or 2 days later is completely out of the question.

 

If this weekend I will buy on release day. I am on duty all weekend (sitting in my resident hall) and i like to do long halls then. Otherwise I will wait a few days after release.

I'd say there were ready for the NGX release but I remember they were suffering DDOS launched from China, so that was really not a problem of being under a low bandwith or things like that. But on those attacs it's just making so many request on the servers at a single time that there's not much you can do against that.

 

Let's just hope it does not happen this time, though I would believe their host and service providers, probably took measures after this incident.
