I knew the slow downloads and overwhelmed servers were going to happen.  Going to relax, finish my last flight in the NGX tonight, and happily download without stress sometime tommorrow

 

It appears the release is going much more smoother than August 2011 with the NGX debut.  Remember the DDOS attacks from China?

I was lucky to get my download link, I am installing now. Cant wait to take her for a spin. Thanks PMDG for the release, and good luck to all with their new 777. Happy landings!

You'll get 2 emails after purchase. One stating that the order was placed and a 2nd one after its been approved which has your activation info and download link.

 

I just did a short hop from IAH to SAT and she flies like a dream. Be careful with the power on approach or you will find yourself going missed like I did. This plane is beautiful. The guys at PMDG outdid themselves with this one. I'm about to set up IAH to LHR. This should keep me occupied until 3am or so.

Took me about 25 minutes to navigate around the website,cart,paypal then confirmation and download link. I LOVE THIS PLANE!  Currently flying as DAL69 ATL-LAX on VATSIM

Mine started at around 200-300kbps then shot to close to 2MBPS. It'll get there.

 

I was flying ATL-IAD on VATSIM and was preoccupied ordering/downloading. Went back to the sim and I was rocketing along at 290 at 3000 on the approach with 10 miles to go.

I use IDM, internet download manager.  Pulls files in multiple streams sorta like a torrent.  If the server is even half way decent I always max out at 3.7mb/s

 

777 download took less than 5 minutes.

Downloaded that and I am still downloading at 12 KB/Sec with "1 Day Left" Are you SERIOUS?????

Wow, just wow!! Sounds are superb! animations are so smooth, frames are amazing. What else can I say?! PMDG have really done a magnificent job on this beauty. They really have! 

Did anyone get this message? Error: Thank you for your purchase, it is currently under review. Or something to that effect. My c/c has been charged twice, but like most of you no DL link OR confirmation email. I called the c/c company but they said it's still a pending transaction so there's nothing they can do.

I bought, paid for and not received the product. I didn´t receive the link..and this was at three hours ago...
I am disapointed :(  You wait, wait,wait.. and When you think it is ... showtime !!! ... nothing happen . I have friends who already downloaded the product but My credit card received the billing and I paid for this.
If you do not have competence to meet all customers please explain... and give to them a target date or a status.

My download finished an hour ago. I then did a quick test run from CYLW to CYYC (my hometown) just for the heck of it. Very impressed so far. I'll do a longer flight later, but I just had to get this bird in the air.

Purchased, received confirmation, downloaded, and got my key within 10 or so minutes. Very quick and easy, smoothest PMDG launch by far. I know some other folks are having trouble but PMDG will be on it I'm sure.

sign back into the "e-commerce" shop. click on "view previous orders". The top most order should link you to your order, and at the bottom of that page you will find the download link..

These guys are competent, but the system is a little cryptic.
