Hello guys! After been stuck for 30 minutes(Lucky me i guess?) I got the PMDG 777.

 

Now I'm eager to fly online and start up the sim.

 

As Emirates on EGLL, i try to start up fsinn the normal way, but 2 times the sim crash after that.

So for me it seems fsinn won't work in the sim when 777 is running. Same problem as of the FSlabs concorde.

 

What you can do if you also have this prob is start with default trike, startup fsinn and then change to the 777.

OR start FSinn UI via the start menu.

 

Then the question, am i the only 1 having this problem?

No i have that problem too, starting FSINN while you are sitting inside any complex simulation always causes FSX to hang indefinitely, so i always have to startup with the default cessna start fsinn then switch to PMDG planes, the manuals speak against starting default cessna in flight first but i cannot avoid it, i havent noticed anything weird so far. knock on wood.

same issue here.... loaded PMDG777 on EGLL and wanted to start the FSInn but it caused "Not Responding" twice :(

I used FSINN throughout the beta and had zero issues with it.

I'll see what happens with the latest build.

Using the latest build (RC) I am currently on the apron at EGSS, as UAE 9745.  I utilized FsInn in the beta- and do not have SquawkBox installed.  I do not have to load anything other than the plane I intend to fly- for this load I went from Free Flight to 777F (Emirates).  I would suggest a look at your FsInn setup and their Forum.

Be sure that FSInn isnt using your PMDG 777 model to display other 777 AI.  That could be a heavy stress.  Search the FSInn forum at VATSIM for info on how to mitigate that.

The 777L is missing from the FSInn Aircrafts database.  You need to add this line to the ICAO.cfg file in the AcftDB folder.

This will ensure your aircraft is recognized and hopefully also that it displays a low res version of other 777's (which it should do anyway)

Any update AJ?  I haven't bought it yet but plan to tonight and I use FSInn.  I don't want issues.  

I have no issues at all with FSInn.

I always have FSinn/FSX hang when I start up in the NGX at EHAM (Aerosoft + NL2000)

If I start up at EHRD instead, (NGX, NL2000 but no Aerosoft in sight) it starts fine.

 

Same problem at EGLC (But oddly not at EGLL).

 

I think it's just too much stuff happening at the same time. Load something default first, Start FSinn (This already freezes FSX) Once FSinn is done loading, switch to the complex stuff.

All through beta I had no hang ups at all using FSINN, I never start the sim at the default plane either.

Any update AJ?  I haven't bought it yet but plan to tonight and I use FSInn.  I don't want issues.  

 

Flying now on VATSIM, no issues. I completely reinstalled the latest retail build of the 777 so I'm using exactly what you guys are.

Only advice I can give is make sure FSCopilot is the last entry in your DLL.XML file in the FSX folder (AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX...).

I had no issues.  Installed her.  Ran my EZCA config.  Loaded up FSX.  Fiddled with my settings like Short Turn on start up etc.  Fiddled with my EZCA views of which I only have a few and need to work in WAY more to be able to see everything in this gigantic cockpit.  Pulled down the FSX menu...and here came the test.  Modules, FSUIPC, Control Panel.  BAM!  FSUIPC started it's long journey to recycle all aircraft in the database.  This is when I was sure I was going to hang just like I've read about here.  Nope.  Not a hang.  It took awhile, but no hang.  Smooth install boys.  

I didn't buy the 777 but I have the same situation with the NGX I always need a default aircraft load fsinn and then switch aircraft.

If we can find a solution I would more then happy.
